I'm really having a hard time getting diagonal inputs on 3/8 forward circles when I have to do them so fast on her combos and the stick starts in the down forward position :I

It's getting better though... slowly... though I'm already feeling like I'm wasting my life XD

well the game says I'm doing it right...

yeah you're not inputting all of the commands in ... 9 frames, i think it is.

also the basics are obviously easy to someone who is a veteran to the type of game.
like when you see scrubs whine about how hard it is to short hop.
triangle jumping is awkward and it'll probably take me at least a month to start using it in my game effectively. although everyone else thinks it's the easiest thing in the world.

I was doing Ryu's missions for the hell of it, and I kept messing up his forward heavy > hadouken because doing the forward heavy kept turning my hadoukens into shoryukens.

Had that same problem because of how fast I was doing foward to qcf. Ended up slowing it down.

Thats good too know~! :D Do ya actually plan on using ryu or did ya just mess around outta boredom? Ryu's like a super cool kung fu dood n all, but he doesn't fit my playstyle. I'd totally play him though if I didn't suck as him.

Oh or better yet a team of sentinels. Too bad ya can't pick the same character 3 times for your team. :<

hurp and felicias tough man so good luck. =p I can do her combo's in training mode but not in the heat of a battle. There sooo quick paced!

My team is Spidey, Ryu and Hulk and I hate using hadoken when I meant to forward H. I do it all the time. Ryu has got some ridiculously damaging combos though, once he finally lands a hit.

It doesn't SOUND difficult but it's major a pain in the *** to do consistantly. I literally spent 3 hours in training mode yesterday just working on that part and I still only get it like 40% of the time to the right and 0% of the time to the left.

This is his first stick game.

Stick is hard, and this game is randomly finicky about inputs.

Put Sentinel on your team. You don't have to be technical to do his ****** combos, and he'll help carry you until you get the hang of it.

EDIT: Also, work on a combo up to the point where you drop it. Don't continue past that point until you have it down perfectly. If this means only doing 3 hit combos for an hour, do it. Try not to practice for more than an hour straight. As tempting as it is, you'll actually learn faster if you take breaks in between sessions, and if you quit right as you're really starting to get into it you'll be more likely to come back fired up.

not particularly. When I start getting frustrated I switch characters and come back later.

and yeah I've always been practicing combos in chunks. so like with felicia I've got everything down but that one part XD There are a lot of different factors that can make it miss... so I have to pay attention to those while doing that ******** annoying input

edit: after seeing how easy sentinel is... I think I'm just going to stop playing marvel for now...
