@ Tranz: I go to D'Evelyn, which is considered the toughest school in all of Colorado (it was ranked in the top 100 high schools in the nation last year, academics-wise). Highest ACT scores for 10 years in a row I think? Anyways, sometimes I actually do have 4 hours of homework a night, after going to school for 7 hours (7:30 - 2:30), but sometimes I also have 30 minutes of homework. On average, I'll have 2 hours of homework a night if I complete them without BS'ing and make it an A assignment. I just find it funny how people complain about stuff like this, because honestly, is even what I just said that hard? Oh noooo, on the toughest days of the school year (excluding finals week) I have to spend 11 out of my 16 hours awake doing school-related stuff. How terrible! That's only 3 hours longer than a normal work day lol. And other times I'll only have to spend 7 hours 30 minutes on school, which honestly happens about three times as much as the 4 hours of homework nights. What a brutal life us high-schoolers have, huh?

Meh. Complaining irks me.

Yeah I'm in IB. I didn't study for the ACT either and got a 33 >_>

But I have to study for most of my IB classes. Pretty smart so not a ton.

But I write a looooot of papers. XI

I took hard classes AND didn't study! Hahahahahaha!

Then I went to college and took 21 credits my first year. It went ok, except I hated what I was studying, so I slacked off then got a job I liked while taking much less schooling.

And now I have a job I barely like, but that pays very well and gives me tons of time to do what I want. I guess the lesson is that life isn't going to go how you expect, so just be prepared for everything.

I didn't take high school seriously at all. I was more focused on other things. I still managed to make As and Bs (with some Cs) but over all I didn't try to even do AP classes or anything(even though I had several chances to)

Kind of wishing I would of. It could have helped me with college.

At least you were exceptional Bees, I nearly had to repeat a portion of my senior year. I'd hate to imagine if I actually had to.

I wasn't exceptional my first 2 years of high school. Due to moving in the middle of the year from Georgia to Texas I went from block schedule to non block schedule. In addition half of those 4 classes were not offered . since it was near the end of the year and the Texas school did credits different. Rather than getting 4/4 credits in Georgia(which counted for more in Georgia) I got 2/7 possible credits in Texas.
So I repeated my freshmen year. fortunately My last year of high school I went to a technology center. and doubled up on my academics to at least catch up a semester. So despite my best efforts I still graduated late. Being a military brat has a lot of disadvantages. Especially when you move from one failing school system run by simpletons to another. :/

probably more like 80-ish meter because the attacks leading up to the first super probably give him around 20 heat.

The 3 jabs didn't combo into the CH knives (I dunno the input, I'd assume 6C) So the combo started from the CH knives.

So to add to Tim's

So, don't get counter hit with 6C(?) in the corner against hazama when he has 2 bursts, between 80-100 meter, and less than 35% life, and I have no bursts. Will keep that in mind.

What? I took 4 AP exams barely studying and got a 4, a 4, and 3 :X

Wtf? I went throughout highschool and I never did any homework outside of school, and pulled a 3.5 with 4 ap classes total and going into college with ~14 credits.

How can you spend 5 hours a day doing homework?

I'm not trying to sound arrogant or anything, but I have no idea how you guys can study that much or that hard. I thought highschool was easy and everything too, but I have no idea how there was that much material to study in HS. I never studied and almost always made A's....Hell I barely studied for the ACT and did fine on it too :X

Please explain!

Lol, same here. I don't really study much now, the only thing I had to really study for was Chemistry last year. x.x I was just very uninterested before recently, when I got all the motivation I'd ever need.

It's worse now, and a lot of students are falling under the pressure. I'm seeing many of my younger peers succumb to the stress, and I've seen each year that at least 1 student dies by overwork/suicide.

I suppose another reason is because I'm Chinese and Japanese. I got the best of both worlds, and the worse as well. Chinese Mothers praise their eldest son, but at the same time have very high expectations of them. Japanese Fathers also praise their eldest son, but also have that very high expectations. In short, I was expected to make straight A's. Letting them down wasn't an option.
1- Wtf. That's seriously wrong.

2- That's really got to be tough. >< Oh wow.

In terms of college, I'm about to enter my senior year after this semester and well here are some words of wisdom. There are some classes you can get away from not studying at all in or even showing up to. But you can't do both. IF you choose not to show up to class, then u better make sure you have a friend who does or know exactly what is going on by reading the textbook. I highly recommend to not ditch class unless its an introductory course and even then its still risky but you can get away with it. Past introductory courses, yeah just don't even miss class. Showing up to class is probably the easiest way you can pass through college. Also from another standpoint, you or someone is paying for you to be there, so you might as well get your moneys worth. At the beginning of each semester it always helps to do extremely well on the first tests, they are usually the easiest. This will help you down along towards the end of the semester when you have multiple test and papers due and you have to prioritize which classes you need to devote the most/least time. Be sure to make at least 1 friend/acquaintance in your class, this really helps a lot as you can help each other out. TALK TO YOUR PROFESSORS. IF you show initiative, interest, and dedication, they will make sure that you pass the class. They are human believe it or not.
Thanks for the tips. o: I never planned to skip any classes, believe me. XD And ugh at the ends of semesters x_x And I'll definitely talk with my professors.

And people here complain about their tests...

Very true. I don't think anyone's life went exactly as they'd planned. That'd be pretty boring anyway, I'd think. XD

Ouch. >_< That's terrible. I didn't know they had things like that happening. Always thought LA's failing school systems were the worst x_x[/collapse]

And colorados blaz scene is at it again XD jk guys. Maybe if I fail to learn the basics on my own I will come to you guys. As of right now I am doing the scrubby thing with Blazblue trying to get far enough in the story mode so I can do Arakunes story mode. Also hopefully by the time I get good with him they will make another balance patch in which he is not broken.(I kinda don't want to play a horribly broken character) Its not fun to beat people who are obviously better than you just because you play a broken character. Feels undeserving imo. Thats just me though

you're not using broken arakune yet bees. you have the perfectly cool mid tier version.

and just sit through the tutorials. it'll teach you all the game mechanics and stuffs.

I know the balance patch hasn't come out yet. But when it does I will be using a character that will be doing what I mentioned before in my previous post. which is why I hope by the time I get good the patch isn't something I have to deal with. Either way okay I shall sit through the tutorials from a bottom tier hurling insults at Rawrgna the Droolspittle while I watch in entertainment.

The mechanics of the game will always keep arakune and tager from being the top of the top. Someone will always be able to outcamp them, based solely on their designs. So don't worry about that bess.

Hi guyzzzz! I'm back again from my awesome school brainwashing vacation combined with evil sicknesses that distorted my mind! I'm glad you all stopped discussing school because it is over for now and all is well in the world. Now the video game journey for the next whole month will begin and terror will reign in the dark corners of people's rooms once more....
