i was mildly excited for those but never got around to seeing them

zack and miri is pretty mediocre. i like kevin smith a lot, but it wasn't very good. worth a watch at least, but i wouldn't pay money to see it.

i'm interested in seeing the invention of lying but i have a huge backlog of movies right now.

i might have to make a comic/non-manga thread if i continue to try and get into comics.

the movie is pretty **** good, all things considered. when my biggest complaint is that it's too faithful to the comic, i think they did a pretty good job.

the invention of lying was good and fun for a while... then about halfway through it got seriously derailed into trying to bludgeon the audience with the moral of the story and lost the funny and the interesting

i played frotaz in pools in nrocal in like 2007. in other words, back when i sucked. still beat him. i mean, i hear he's a cool dude, and he's definitely pretty smart -- pretty sexy peach. but online he's only been a douchebag so that's all i know him by. you'd think he'd have something better to do by now than "troll" people when he doesn't even play the game anymore.

I was gonna go for the whole "pretend to not remember a person who beat you" counter but the truth is I can't focus on it at all cause I can't stop thinking about how awful the last X-Files movie was. Have you guys seen it? Every single plot from every single episode of the TV show was more interesting.....awful.

I liked the Invention of Lying! If you liked Ghost Town, one of Ricky Gervais' other movies, you'll like this one.
It has an undertone and focus on religion. You should be able to put it together when watching it. Either way, it's really good.

Zack and Miri make a porno was pretty funny. If you like Knocked Up, The 40 Year-Old Virgin, etc., you will like this also.

Frotaz can use any character just as well as his Peach. It's kind of impressive, actually, how his Yoshi and random characters can keep up so well.

actually now that i think about it i did go see kung fu panda when it was in theaters. i regretted that though, it wasn't worth the ticket cost.

i might download How to Train Your Dragon down the road though

No way dude. Kung Fu Panda was the closest non-Pixar CG animated kids movies have gotten to Pixar, but it's still noticeably worse than anything Pixar has put out (I haven't seen Cars, but I'll blindly take Cars over this too).

superrad this movie is superbad trust me kira knows what he's talkin about iv seen it through many times cause i got 3 siblings so im forced to listen to it....... -_-

my fave movie is Lord Of War starring nicholas cage the movie is so close to the truth that the government tried to keep advertising of this movie to really low though it made it to theaters and was still pretty popular but could of been more popular.

my other fave movie atm is The Ninth Gate starring johny depp its about a guy trying to unlock the mysteries of hell and its powers ect....... its deep and to hard to explain.

Lady In The Water is my favorite movie by Em Knightly Shamalama, just cause Bryce Dallas Howard is.........well. What she is depends on how much you're into extremely pale-to-the-point-of-almost-being-albino half naked ginger girls.


Brian, I agree with you for the most part, walking out of movies seems like a pretty stuck up thing to do..........unless.

There is only one movie I have seen that I would have walked out on if I saw it in theaters. It's impossible for me to watch it, it hurts really bad. I literally cannot force myself to sit through any significant portion of it. I haven't seen Cars but perhaps it gives Kira the same feeling I get when I watch Ernest Scared Stupid.

man, im really disappointed that zack and miri is bad. it even features katie morgan, one of my fave pornstars from when i was a kid.

kung fu panda was a legit movie. i thoughroughly enjoyed the whole thing.
