ive seen bits of flcl, it was a pile of turd but lets be honest, a hand with hands on the end of its fingers with a trenchcoat and guns is pretty cool...yknow, in a roundabout kind of way
as for anime, i honest to god recommend 'hayate the combat butler' or hayate no gotoku in japanese.
you cant not like it particularly if you get game gag's. they are made a lot XD
