Which Character is the Best Here at Smash Boards??
All new signups! New details as well to ensure people will play matches. This will have either 8 or 16 four man teams.
This is a tournament to answer that question. In this tournament, you pick one character. You will be put in a team with the same character (ex. Team Peach, Team Toon Link, etc.). Throughout the tournament your team will have to prove that your character is the best!
How This Will Work:
-Like already mentioned, you will choose one character to use throughout the tournament. You will be placed on a team based on the character you choose. So if you pick the character Meta Knight, you will be put on a Meta Knight Team.
-Each team will be placed in a group. The number of groups and the number of teams in each group will depend on how many people sign up. Your goal is to be the best team in your group and you will do this by battling members on other teams. For each defeat, you will gain points for your team, furthering your chances on advancing.
-In the Final Round, the two teams will play all the other team's members. There will still be a point system involved.
Rules:
-Point System tournament
-MetaKnights IDC shenanigan is banned. (you can ban these or any other move that could cause unrest. Or, you could just not ban any move)
-If the timer runs out and the number of stocks are tied, the one with less damage percentage wins. If the percentage is the same, a one stock, three minute match will be held.
-If lag is absolutely terrible, a third person can be used to help alleviate lag. Or, a coin toss can be used to determine the winner, if both players agree to it.
-Both players may strike one Neutral stage.
-Winner gets to ban one Counter Pick stage.
- Ganon or Bowsercides will results in a one stock, three minute decider.
-Pokemon Trainer, Toon Link, Captain Falcon, Wario, Peach, Ike, Diddy Kong, Zero Suit Samus, Donkey Kong, D3, Sheik, Meta Knight, Pit, Kirby, Ness, Lucario

Additional Rules
-Lag: It always seems to be a big problem. I experience it myself. If it is really bad in the middle of your match, just report to me and we can figure something out.
- You must have a live form of communication available to the other player @ all times! This includes, but is not limited to: IM, xat, or any other form of communication in which you can contact your opponent in real time. No exceptions. If I find out you don't have this, you will be DQed.
