Yes, but it seems like something that can't be worked around. And then you have players like Zero and M2K claiming she's #1.

MVD has made it to Top 32 in winners. To accomplish this, in the second wave of pools he beat Denti's Diddy 2-0, FOW's Ness 2-1, and Dabuz 2-1. And he went Duck Hunt all the way. Quite impressive. I believe he's the only high level Duck Hunt player in the USA.

That link has all of the brackets. By looking at the phase 2 brackets you can see all the players that made it out of the phase 1 pools. The players in winners were 1st seed, and the players in losers were 2nd seed.

However none of these Challonge brackets actually show the results of these matches. Eventually when the top 32 bracket for smash wii u gets filled out, we will know who made it out of phase 2 of pools.

Vinnie played a streamed match as ROB, against a Diddy main. He was 1-1 with his Sheik, and switched to ROB for the victory.

Glad to see the character diversity, though. Not digging the Sonics. Cept in that one streamed Ness & Little Mac vs. Zero Suit & Sonic. That was an amazing couple of matches.

For the mains, I just put them there based on who they used in the past or who they used on stream. I only put the characters for the players I recognize. This is so that we can get some idea of how the 1st wave of pools went for Apex in terms of character diversity. If you know anyone else's main, please say. I was SUPER impressed with badada's Shulk and Mega Man today. Looking forward to seeing how far he gets.

Really wish the Challonge thing listed what character the players were using so I could get an idea of the diversity. From what I can remember though it looks like we've got some Pac-Man, Mega Man, Kirby, Shulk, Charizard (Bloodcross plays Zard right?), Marth, Peach...Not too bad for now. Are these tomorrow's matches or were they off-stream?

Nyani made it out of pools? That's good. Also, she uses Pit along with Mario as well. Nientono uses Sheik.


Edit: Holy... Dark Wizzy made it out of Pools too? He's a very dedicated Mario main and is speculated to be the best Mario in the US as well (mainly stated by Mr. ConCon). I hope he makes it all the way.
