But yet you make racist comments.

I was pissed myself yesterday. In melee I lost to Zro in losers. all cause he camped me with Fox. I always get camped by space animals when I am Peach.

And then in Brawl I lost to him again in losers cause he camped me with Falco. That pissed me off. His Falco was not all that good. I played C4's falco at a weeklie in a tournament match. He has a great Falco and I sent him to losers. So Me losing to Zro was stupid. I should have not lost to it, I don't care what anyone says. But because he camps....I lost. it also pisses me off that so far just about every tournament I been in, I lose cause of camping falcos or tornado spamming meta knights. I am honestly sick and tired of this ****. But you don't see me coming here punching things and banging my controller or making racist comments now do you?

people have the right to get mad. I was pissed off as hell on how I got gayed in both games all cause Peach cant really do **** about it. But how people reacted when they get mad is a different story, and you are not excused for it.

yeah rly man...thats how it is in tournaments (its not all piece and quiet you know...there WILL be distractions)...plus if ppl are cheering for you there would be no reason for you to yell at them for giving you advice.....my friend was giving you advice and you just kept giving an attitude....plus you barely lost so you shouldve said ok i lost ill get him next time...or better yet just play him in casuals later or something....you should never overreact like that just from 1 tournament lost...it happens to everyone....but good **** though yo...your olimar is pretty good....my other friend was scared ****less cuz you beat him LOL he didnt know what to do

oh yeah next time post this thread on SRK forums

i went there for 3s and only 4 ppl showed up
: -\

i was rly sad about that
they were prolly scared off by your amazing controller for 3s =P

seriously though, u had a sick marth, i wanted to play more than a 20 second friendly so i could get my *** kicked and learn the matchup more

also, i know whaat you mean about things like camping falcos(and in my case chain grabbing falcos), i play peach and know what you mean but we got to deal with it because its wont stop and theres nothing that we can do about(unless we wanna pick up metaknight just to win)

i said i didnt mean for it to be racist, i wrote it wrong but i erased it cause i didnt want to sound racist, i didnt say i should be excused for it, yell at me all you want, hate me, but leave this in my smash life, not my real one cause i dont people seeing how mad i get in my smash life and using it to insult me in my real life, besides, my outburst is better than insulting people who are good and calling them noobs or losers or ******** constitently and purposely annoying people in a tournament which i used to do(see, i have gotten better atleast through losing experience), everyone just expresses it in a different way and i dont see why you should get mad because i expressed it by beating up my controller

You dont get it at all kid.

So I am done here, maybe someone else can explain this to you.
I'll try.

Dabuz, Smash wasn't always an online game (and it mostly isn't today). When the tournament scene came around in Melee, people had to meet in real life to play together, so no one was anonymous. That had to act normally like in any other social situation, the only difference being everyone loved Smash. That's why, unless you're an ***, you shake hands and don't throw temper-tantrums when you lose. You take the loss and learn what you could've done right, and if you're still pissed off, you can brood about it when you go home.

The reason people who play online games (like WoW, CS, etc) are much more immature and hot-tempered than smashers is because they never have to see the people they play against in person. Their antics might be permissible in their own house, but not in the company of people they just met. You yourself said that you only played the game online, and I'm assuming your parents let you parade rampantly around the house whenever you inevitably lose. Now that you came to your first tournament, you assumed that you were a lot better than everyone, and you got hit with the harsh reality that online play =/= offline play and other people are really good.

Don't get my wrong, you're a very good Olimar. It's just a shame that you acted like you were in your basement at home, because people would've given you props for being young and good instead of thinking you're a psycho.

I'm sorry if it upsets you, but I would NOT have teamed with you had I known you were like that at all. It wasn't fun to deal with. Here are some suggestions:

-(This one only applies to me I guess): Don't ever ask to team with someone if you don't have the money to pay for it. I covered your $5 for teams as a nice gesture because you were in a friendly, only because I assumed that, since you asked me before, you had the money to pay for it. Don't tell me after that you don't have the money, that's not right.

-Don't throw temper-tantrums when you're with other people. Grow a pair, be a good person, shake the guy's hand and think about what you did wrong. With the small exception of random events out of your control (tripping), the loss is always your fault. It doesn't matter if your opponent uses "unfair" strategies like camping. You can always beat it, and saying you can't just makes you a worse player.

-Play friendlies and interact with people, don't brood in a corner as much. Remember it's a social event.

-Don't be a racist ***, ever, that **** is unacceptable. The term "blackies" doesn't fly, and calling people "stupid, smelly, and dumb" based on their skin color is from like the 1800s. Especially because not everyone was black. Even then, some of the best Smash players ever were black, so chill.

My advice: wait to grow up. You're like 12 (I'm assuming) and clearly not ready to deal with tournaments like these. Get some friends first to play with, learn how to interact socially, then start posting again and going to tourneys.

As your profile says:

Dabuz has not made any friends yet.
That won't change till you grow up.

Also.. No reason to even be mad. I had CLOSE matches where the wario I was playing (rafa) had 13-% or higher in the two matches I beat him, while on my CP I beat him easily (Mainly because it was a good stage for Olimar). So that covers what happened to you, I believe.

Another thing. Take advice that people say (Unless it's dumb). Even more, if the player giving advice is an Olimar user, take it to heart. Really. You would have won or had a better chance if you listeend to what people said at least for a moment, as you were obviously listening to stupid comments like "Tie your sneakers boy!". As funny as they were*****

Finally, if you had gotten to play Eli, you'd be really upset. I doubt you play any other characters, just like I don't, but uh... I recommend to you and all other olimar users to learn a secondary just for luigi. I have never felt so helpless. If the guy played a bit better game, he could have easily three stocked me. (Not that I mean he is bad, but all he may have known even was just air attack and spaced fireballs as he plays DK more I think.)

Dark.Pch - Mach tornado is vulnerable at the top. Where peach can float above easily and do dairs. I don't know what moves beat it besides hitting the vulnerable spot for peach.

Other people - Even if your characters are low tier or top, don't make a big deal about it just for the sake of sounding like you have to deal with a harder time....

EDIT:: Good words, Patsie. Yeah, not only does it make people more cautious before doing teams and the like with strangers.. it makes Olimar players look -horrible-. I mean. I had to look away and pay attention to some random match because I was actually embarrassed myself.

i agree with everything you said and see what you mean so thank you for the advice, only a few things,

i dont do that in my house, because i dont play big cash tournaments online,

like i said before i didnt mean to be racist so i deleted any posts that i thought were racist because i feel really bad that people were offended(i should no better though cause my bestfriends are mainly muslim)

i stopped asking for doubles partner when i realized i didnt have money, when you asked me if i needed a doubles partner i said yes cause that was true and i assumed(my mistake) that since you gave me the money that you were paying for me and i used some of that money for food like i said i was saving it for,

your right about i might be to immature for this but now that i see how these really are next time ill be more mature

and like you said i was cocky cause i play online alot and didnt think offliners were betters than onliners

also, i do have alot of friends because i very rarely(but id do sometimes) act this way over stuff but not in frot of them

just thank you and next time ill remember this stuff so people dont think im a psycho but instead a good yyoung olimar player

My Dairs dont go through it. Dude trust me, I play Peach and know her all well. That does not work. The only thing that can hit Meta off of it is her Fsmash. But even that has to be timed, cause the tornado can still beat it. This is the reason its one of Peachs works match ups.

Spam tornado and you beat her.

i dont even challenge the nado ever like ever unless i have a projectile that'll go through or unless im marth or something just try to go to the edge or avoid it and predict where he lands i don't even find it worth it to challenge the nado cuz not only is the timing super tight but he can move and if he hits you get in a bad position.

when people talk about the nado they seem to forget meta can move mad fast and that the top is really small lol

thats why i said i didnt mean it to be racist, here is the beggining what i meant to type(i was just to angry to reread before posting, bear in mind i was still angry when i was goiing to type it):

it was baaad, it was smelly, there was a lot of screaming, and there were black people everywhere(just me being surprised cause ive never got to talk to one, seriously, not trying to be racist though, just honest)

well, ive learned and maybe next time ill make more friends than enemies, and i know that still was wrong of me to say even though and im sorry if it hurt someones feelings

still, what does lmfao mean?

Laugh my f*ck*ng *** off, really.

Um, also, I didn't mean -through- the tornado, at the top. Which I'll say is hard, but you can still jump above it with a fast double jump.
Also, turnips. I'm not saying it's hard, and I'll believe you because you play Peach, not me, but that's his weak points.

As for Olimar, we can grab it, double jump dair it, FF nair it and UP+B through it. Maybe it's harder for peach to double jump it because her second jump is different now, but most characters go fast enough.

Results, doommachine? :D

i cant stand waiting an hour for 1 match against a 2 minute noob(yes, im that cocky i will win)
Cstick + roll = win? **** i hate cocky smashers.
"blackies hollerin in ma ears" awesome, my new favorite excuse, i have to use that some time.
I can mess up during a match too, thats how i was eliminated, but dont rage all over like a 5 year old.
Youve already been flamed, just dont act like that at the next one and everything will be alright.

Other than that, the tourney was good. Seemed unorganized due to alot of people & the lack of setups, but good anyway.
Semi-renewed my hope in castle golf, nothing like the last one >_<.
no real shoutouts, didnt see any arrogance, so good matches to those i played.
results would be cool but not important.
Anyways, keep me updated on future events. As long as I can bring a 360 with SC4 (also XBLA SC1) to attempt a tourney on 1 TV or at least have casuals, I'll be trying to make the trip up.
Bring SC2 & SC4, ill remember you as i age, seriously!
some LI SC tourneys would be nice. ^.^
