all you have to do is jump and nair right away.

even if you fast fall ASAP, it will still autocancel, and you can do a rising first hit of nair and a falling 2nd hit of nair if you time it right. It's far better than what ken does w/ nair. In fact, it's not even comparable, it's INFINITELY better than what he does.

i think the only difference is that autocanceled is 4 frames lag, while l-canceled is 7 frames of lag (no canceling produces 15 frames lag i think). objectively quantified that makes it exactly 7/4 times better or 75% better. what you do with the extra 3 frames (1/20 of a second) could increase that percentage though, i guess.

I think if you 're pratically inside thier shield, the stun from Nair should have enough stun to run behind them without getting grabbed.

So I would think yes.(even though you asked M2K.)

Basically after a certain frame, most aerial moves will autocancel... automatically. You can look up the specifics from SuperDoodleMan's frame data. Marth's nair autocancels a tiny bit after the second slash finishes. Pretty good.
