I didn't search my name but someone directed me to this thread.
I mean what's funny is that he says I play like any other samus, yet he was quick to give me enough credit to say I was way better than him.
I mean he neglects to remember that no samus has anything close to my record. So by implying that I played like any other samus, one would assume that I just played like **** that match.
But he wouldn't be man enough to admit it. No, he's too proud of getting a close set vs HugS. I mean those youtube matches were up in record time.

youre smarter and faster than other samuses but like i didnt think you did anything ridiculously differently, if you rewatch the matches all i did was the same thing over and over and later on in the set you just anticipated that i was going to bum rush you and you punished me for it
im more than confident that my cf will beat your samus @ genesis if you want to put money on it but its not a reflection on anything besides the fact that i think the matchup is garbage and i think it's really painfully obvious
if you dont play anymore then fine we'll just leave it as it is but at this point honestly its a difference of opinion and that's it, i'd be more than happy to test it out and put some money on it and we'll see who is right but no need to throw a hissy fit over it
@ celph, yeah i think it's obvious that one of the best players at that tourney was going to take r1 of pools seriously when it was vs a player who was obvi going to get 1st seed if i won that set and the only point that i was trying to make was:
that i was not a good player and hugs is a great player and i play CF and know the matchup very well and he plays samus and knows the matchup very well and the set was MAD close
this is IMO very compelling evidence that the matchup is in CFs favor.
and about hugq, good kid but he never stood a chance
and @ jona, i'm like maybe 7th or 8th best in the tristate, if you include the rest of EC i'm MAYBE top 15. EC v WC is going to be boring, it's not even fair how much better we are
btw PC was at a tourney last weekend and won, he's looking GOOD, not as good as he used to be but if he keeps playing he'll get there, so just add one more to the already powerhouse region that is the tristate

I can't wait. See you at Genesis. Hopefully you'll be a much better Falcon main by then because I can promise you, the way you play now... you will NOT win. But of course, you will get better.. as will I.
Scar... ANY idiot could see how bad Hugo played in that set (especially in the first match). Sure he had his moments (like when he ***** you with his last stock on BF) but it doesn't mean he was playing well throughout the set.
You're basing so much off that set that it's disgusting. Hugo had a good reason to be annoyed because, quite frankly, you're annoying. You're some dumb guy who gains keyboard courage when he's typing safe at home in front of his computer screen.
And you're so convinced that Falcon has the advantage when HugS' thinks otherwise. Hmm.. who to believe. Some Falcon who's only experience with a GOOD Samus is in ONE crappy set or THE BEST Samus player who had been making a name for himself back when you were still in diapers and who hasn't lost a ANY Falcon prior to quitting for 3 straight years. Hmm... you be the judge.
Edit: Yeah, EC as it stands now would **** WC in a crew battle but you're in NO position to say anything since YOU wont be doing any **** at Genesis.

Well I disagree by about 20 bucks, and if we did regional I'd pretty much definitely be in the crew "doing ****," but the way you're talking I'm pretty excited to play you now, I'm glad there are WC players I haven't heard of who are good.

I said "I 3 stocked him," which as we all know is a factual statement, and mentioned that I lost the set, that you were way better than me, and that it was a long time ago, in reference to a matchup debate.
This is very clearly and painfully obviously NOT an attempt at bragging, and NOT insulting towards you at all, unless it's that time of the month.
But since you were AIMed about it you prob didn't even read all of it, because I wouldn't either, I would just say exactly what you did, which is fine but whoever was advising you needs to chill.
No that was NOT my only evidence for thinking that CF ***** Samus, I have never lost to a Samus in tourney besides you including IHSB, Alukard (whose Samus @ pound3 was reputedly as good or better than Wes's in his prime), Watty, etc etc by a fairly large margin when I was equal to their level.
Locally there are more Samuses here than anywhere too, my brackets when I was a scrub were Samus Samus Samus Marth Samus Fox. I can name 6 off the top of my head, and they learned the matchup from you so good I'm glad we're dropping it but you definitely took something innocent and made it a personal attack on you, and Kouryuu is definitely thinking that I have nothing else to back up my claims, no, that's just the most compelling piece of evidence.
Finally, I'd like to think that even if I was playing like **** I'd **** any new hot **** Samus in pools at a national tourney.

Smash regions are like college basketball. East coast is by far the best. Midwest is sick as well. South has scattered talent but watch out for Florida they're the real deal...and the west coast gets **** on by all of them.
Hugs vs Scar would be kinda ill. Not as ill as that pound 3 crew battle where colbol led the midwest to victory over the east coast. Anyone ever gonna upload that?

Darkrain is by far the best CF IMO, I have never really payed any attention to Mango's CF but if you think he's awesome then I guess we're all gonna have to MM him. And then you'd have to include everyone's CFs like M2K's who is super super super gay.
And yeah why does everyone think Colbol is MW?? Prob b/c he doesn't fit in with the Florida scene at all.

Mango's Captain Falcon is by FAR the best on the planet. I wouldn't be surprised if it beat everyone, M2K, PC Chris, et al included, with it.

Darkrain is better than SS by a considerable margin. As far as Mango's Falcon goes, it's questionable whether or not any Falcon is even better than his. Mango has already proven that he is the much better Falcon between him and SS... and there IS M2K. Hmmm.... =\

Yeah idk who you are but I have faith that you have some idea what you're talking about, but I'll just let you know (hopefully without insulting your intelligence) that without having either played the best Falcons out there or seeing both of these players actually ditto, there is no way you can make that claim.
Darkrain is far beyond anything I've ever experienced in both speed and smarts, certainly beyond what a person can undertand through vids. What I've seen of Mango's Fox (vs SS) has definitely been a level below the ability of Cactuar/JMan/PC Chris, not to mention M2K, so I have few doubts that his Falcon will not be comparable to Dark's or M2K's. But yeah we'll see.
Anyways yes I will MM both of your chars for 5 bucks and I'm certainly gonna MM Mango vs whoever he wants, dittos, vs Fox definitely, etc.

Mango vs Cactuar was definitely neither player caring, or so they both say. I think that had they both tried Cactuar would have won Fox dittos (Fox v Puff I am strongly of the opinion that Mango would have won, for obvious reasons), but I would be very surprised if Mango could beat Cactuar in Fox dittos right now even semi-consistently.
Same goes for JMan, M2K, and PC.

Well than good **** Mango, Genesis will be epic. But I dunno I think PC would be 4 stocking M2K's Marth(in his prime) on FD like 80% of the time at the moment.
