I haven't seen much legitimate complaints about nerfs on top-tier characters though.

I mean, the Kirby BAir one? Seriously.

Only if it shallows your metagame. Stuff like Snake's utilt reaching halfway across FD? Not really. :psycho:
Well Snake has got some serious nerfs because the physics

His ub-B doesnt go that high

When he try to c4 recover now he fast fall (they activated fast fall specials), So it is even harder to succes on it

And because the hitstun is now more dangerous for snake having a granade at hand because if he gets hit he can not throw the nade and it will blow out on his face

Also Short Hop + Dair cannot be performed anymore, It cuts at the third kick

So I think that nerfing his tilts was an excess, but, now anything can be done about it

Whoa whoa whoa.

Snake has infinite recovery. There was a thing added to his fair so that he could jump or use up-b out of it, but he can up-b out of it an infinite amount of times. So you can go fair>up-b>fair>up-b>etc.

Might want to get that fixed :ohwell:

Try the new F-air. It's virtually unpunishable (when SH'd) cause once it's out you can double jump back wards and plant a C4 as recovery. If it connects F-air, jump, n-air is a legit combo between 25-35 on most of the cast. It goes higher or lower depending on gravity.

D-tilt is also unpunishable when shielded because of the new IASA what not. So D-tilt to F-tilt is some pretty hard shield ****. Gotta be careful on that F-tilt though since lots of characters can punish Snake now.

It's an overall nerf to Snake, one I'm not happy about or think he deserved but he did get a few new toys to work with.

LOL at camelot's post.

I'll talk to the WBR and see if we can get the people who made the changes or the mains of said characters in the WBR to write up reasons why things were changed and what you should try now.

And fix Snake's infinite recovery?
Unless PSA allows us to do something I don't know about I don't think the problem can be 'fixed' per say. The only way to fix it is to remove the Up-B IASA and that would remove a major purpose of the buff (which is a recovery boost). That most likely means we'll have to come up with something for Snake as compensation for losing that.

Obviously we won't let Snake have an infinite recovery, but I wouldn't be surprised if the F-air IASA stuff gets removed for something else.

Couldn't you just compensate Snake's UpB to be something more like his VBrawl counterpart?

Changing the momentum on the move would do it, I think.

Maybe is not enought, The Fair IASA have some great combo potential in combination with Nair, Dair or even Uair for kicking out people of the screen, but It wont be fixed/balanced in the next few hours so now I really going to sleep ROFL

I just experienced a weird glitch, or something not right, with Yoshi and Sonic.

So this is how it went:

-1st player (me) Yoshi
-2d player (lvl 8 cpu) Sonic
-Battlefield

At the right side of Battlefield Sonic was recovering with his Up-B. I fell of the right side of the stage for a sec then double jumped (not too sure actually) with an attempted attack. For whatever reason, I got sorta stuck in Yoshi's arm waving motion during his 2nd jump, but I was on the ground of Battlefield. I was able to move back and forth, and I still had heavy armor against his attacks. After a few seconds, this moment of wtf passed and everything was fine.

I could've of saved a replay, but I forgot to at the last second. Even if I did, I couldn't upload the vid to show you guys. But if I had it I could of described the situation better. =P

do u guys know when pk is gonna be back from his vacation?

and @ wario changes: wth? i thought it was agreed on that he either receives the fsmash damage nerf or the sa nerf, but never both.
and is the kb compensate a full compensation for fsmash?
and no compensation for dair? (i like that a lot, but it might be a typo)

because a) pk is still on vacation (thus my question when he'll be back) and b) because we need an edited file replacement code in order to use the pac files without losing character sfxs.

It's probably something wrong with Yoshi's DJC OR it's just a weird side effect. As for Snake infinite recovery, that's being looked into right now.
