the nado doesn't really do much except build damage. kirby has a hard enough time doing consistent damage, so I think that if he is lucky enough to get the power, I say leave it as it is. I much rather deal with a kirby with a good nado, than a kirby with amazing falco lasers lol

he always had it? lol

edit: no matter what though, kirby with melee falco lasers > than any other laser shooting kirby

Fixing the Kirby-MK tornado? Last time I checked, MK has the advantage against Kirby and can easily use his sword to stop it. MK can even attack Kirby out of Swallow.

Really, none of the hats really skew dramatically in match-ups to really warrant a change. The thing skewing match-ups is his B-air (and even with his B-air, he ISN'T #1).

Why do my posts get ignored in this topic? I don't even see someone say "Cool idea." or anything. Just completely ignored. The hell is wrong with you guys?

You'd rather respond to stupid posts that just keep the thread active than read my posts that have questions, that I'd like ANSWERED, and ideas regarding not trolling or spamming. Remember that I was the one who suggested the Link's aerial Up-B have one strong hit rather than fail multi-hits. >_>

You haven't posted in a while, dude.

It's been suggested before, and it's not in 5.0 anyways. The new UpB is better anyways.

Actually, he asked a question a few pages ago.

I think it was about if stages were going to be modified in this set.

There's no need to get mad aout it, anyways. Not everyone gets every post. Hell, I even miss whole pages.

@shanus: regardless of how small the change is, it'll still require a fundamental change in kirby gameplay; any hitbox size change to an often-used move will...even if it may be warranted D: But then again, i dont want to be one to bash a change before i try it

Also, who the **** thinks that kirby's nado is good? Are you kidding?

I also asked about Wario and I had an idea about Mario's D-air made to work like his Smash 64 Down-B. So the end of it meteors, whether it be a weak meteor or not. I only suggest this, because I hate his Brawl D-air.

I posted last night, earlier today technically, at around 2A.M. my time, and there was no response, not that I can always expect one. Then I wake up this morning and when I'm able to get on the computer I see that two new pages have appeared and there is nothing regarding my post.

I go back a few pages whenever I read this thread. So I make sure I read everything, at least for the most part.

Falco400, I never heard this thing about stages at all. How does what you're saying even work if you were able to freeze stages already, and make Luigi's Mansion terrible (IMO)?

...No Can do on the Mario Dair. It's already ingrained into is Metagame and that's a major change.
Alrighty. Just throwing some ideas around.

If you don't mind, was there anything regarding Mario's Fair that might've been altered at all in the upcoming Official? Maybe the Doc hit sucks less?

Wait. So the change would be it meteors on the last hit? NOT it becomes his old Down-B with recovery properties and such?

In all honesty, wouldn't see to much of a problem if Mario needs help or can have an appropriate trade-off. But I don't see it really helping Mario too much...

Exactly! I personally think the meteor, whether it be weak or not, could help him kill/gimp better. I personally think Mario is garbage and that he should have it. I also think he might be a little be fun for me that way.

I hate how Brawl did that to a bunch of characters I like. Making them unfun, that is. I hate Brawl Mario, but love Melee Doc/Mario. Same with Luigi, and to a smaller extent, DK. It's all just personal preference, of course, but I ****in loved those guys in Melee, but now they're very unfun for me, though DK is ok. If Ness gets DJC and it doesn't suck, I'm sure I'll instant love him, like I did in SMash 64/Melee.

Doc hit doesnt suck and fair was altered to allow easier hits with the 3 different kinds of fair.

Has Magus tried opening up stages in a hex editor? I bet if you opened up Port Town Aero Dive, you could find the hitboxes for the cars, somewhere.
Without hitbox data from a USB Gecko (meaning someone searches in the RAM) Magus cannot do anything about it or with it.

Those are codes. We have codes to do that. Things like changing the camera on WWR to follow the characters rather than the sandbag is something we cannot do, nerfing the power of hazards is something we also cannot do. Those things would likely be possible IF there was a PSA for stages but, there isn't one so we work with the codes that were made by people for fun, such as the stage freezing code which covers slowing down stages as well (Luigi's Mansion).

As I also said before, both Almas and PK are now way too busy to be doing any hacking for us. So getting codes for stages are a no no, as well as any other new gameplay mechanics that can't be done with PSA

Ah, ok. Well I can only hope that Dantarion, since he is magicing everything, will eventually magic some stage stuff for us.

I knew about Mario's Fair having hitboxes with equal speeds or whatever, but I still find his Doc hit to be weak. I don't expect Melee Doc Fair at all, just something not so... weak.

I'd have to see it. if its just like melee, its not any more balanced.

plus, I don't see the difference because falco is just gonna side b away when you get close enough, just like with shdl. now its just gonna make matches longer lol

SHFFL (Short hop fast fall laser) is actually harder than it sounds like. When I played with it, a Melee Falco veteran who can still SHFFL in Melee today, I couldn't do it at all and if I succeeded, it was only once and I couldn't do it again. It's actually really hard from what I tried.

OK. I just got home from work and dont feel like quoting a bunch. So.... a few thoughts...

1. The blazblue references were very funny.
2. Dark Sonic, did i mention i still love you?
3. MK26, ive played with the bair nerf, it really isnt thaaaat bad. Much better then what your wanting.
4. Kirby hats did get changed. Several of them in fact. I haven't played with them so i dont know if their like their brawl+ character counterparts but i do know they are not the vbrawl kirby hats
5. Delorted1, i still laugh at the fact that you act as if kirby is so massively better then everyone else and that he is a glaring weakness in the balance of this game. Also, laugh at you saying "finally" when he was in fact nerfed a while ago.

edit: Also im the 12000 post in this thread. :) woot woot
