If anyone has found any codes for changing music with PAL codes, let me know. Post where you found them. I can update the program to use them, it's real easy.

Well, I guess I'll say what everyone else is saying, and I love you.
In all seriousness though, once you convert it to a GCT, where in the SD Card do you put the GCT?

Make a folder called "codes" in the root of your SD card...Put the gct file in there...

Can someone please tell me how to run this program. The package didn't come with an exe file...so I'm confused

It's a .jar file (which is basically the same thing as an exe). The only difference is you need to have Java Runtime Environment installed to run it. Just google JRE and you'll get a download link.

When I download your program I don't see any .jar file inside the zip file....

EDIT] I see what happened....Winrar kept reading it as an "archived" file...I got it now

There's an APP for the Homebrew Channel called Cheat Manager. Get it. Basically you just put a bunch of text files (.txt) in a folder on your SD card. Then you launch homebrew, launch the Cheat Manager app, and pick and choose which codes you want to use (like music swap, or brawl+, or textures). Then it generates the .gct code file on the fly. You'll never have to put your SD card in your computer again.

I'm going post more on this later when I release the second version. That'll have to wait til after this weekend though... too many projects for school.

Wait, how do you get the cheat manager? Is it the same thing basically as the code manager on your cpu but inside your wii?

just a couple question about the music hack:

first off, it hacked the music for my normal brawl, even when the SD card isnt in the wii, was that suppose to happen?

whenever i try to change the song frequency on battlefield (normal brawl and through homebrew) the game freezes, should i just change the songs for that stage?

for cheat manager, where should i put it on the SD card and should i keep the same setup on the SD card (apps, codes, and private folder)?

and do i just put the text files in codes?

i have two questions, first being i play on wifi often. when i do, i first go to my music, and go to the music i swapped and put their frequency of play down to 0%. does that cause freezing on wifi if i do that? it froze on me a few times but idk if it could be from another code. (CSS maybe?)

also, i did the music reset, now when i go to My Music, i can no longer customize the frequency of the songs. they are all at 50%. cannot move the slider at all.

1: Yeah, that is supposed to happen.

2: Try changing the songs, and you should be fine.

3: Keep it as the same setup. Load the codes through codemanager, export to gct, and you will be fine. You can do this with all codes.

4: No, the only thing in the codes folder should be a .GCT file called RSBE01 if you are in the United States.

I can't get this working. I used the ocarina manager, made the gct (the file the music swapper generated had non-code text, but I deleted the words like "battlefield"). Does the code file need a specific name?

The code file itself should be named RSBE01.gct, it should be placed in the codes folder on your sd card, and I'm not sure but I think it'd help if you kept the names of the codes in.

Just putting this out there, but there is a way to use hacked music on wifi, I was playing with someone last night that had his hacked and we played without any problems for about 3 hours.
It was quite refreshing hearing sonic songs on smashville, and big blue on battlefield.

I don't have my wii hacked btw.

So, all though I have no idea how he did it, it's most certainly possible.

Q: Is there any downside to swapping my music around?
A: Stages that you have swapped music for will causes problems when you try to play on them online. I'm not sure if there is a fix for this issue.

Q: What happens if I try to play online with swapped music?
A: If the game tries to load a song online that you have different from other players, then your Wii will freeze.

I think the same goes for replays too. Haven't been able to test this yet though...

Yeah... you can. AND all of the K.K. songs that you need to play on Smashville from 8 P.M. to midnight...

I warn you, do NOT music hack Luigi's Mansion. I couldn't play on it for a long time.

Really? I could not play on Luigi's Mansion at all for a while, at least until I used the My Music codes (the reset ones), because it froze every time I selected it.

Wait So I Cant Upload My Own
Music To The Stages ?
Ex : Final Destination Playing A Lil Wayne Song
Or Smashville Playing A Jay Z Song ?

EDiT: Your Software Works =]
But My Problem Is That
When I Exported The File To .GCT
I Couldn't See My Texture Hacks Anymore =/
I Had To Do The Same Thing With The Texture Files Too
To Export It To .GCT
So I Cant Have Texture Hacks && The Music At The Same Time ?

You can, but the process goes like this:

-Pick out your music, make a gct for them
-Load Brawl with -only- the music hacks on and set them up as you like. These codes actually modify your save file and keep the changes you made so after the first time you use the music gct you don't have to load it up ever again. Unless you change the music again or want to restore them to default.
-Put your old codes back on and play like you usually do. Your music will remain (Even if you play without any codes loaded) and you can play with your hacks on.

So I Have To Make My Own Music A .GCT File .
I Do That By Exporting It To .GCT On Code Manager Rite :ohwell:
**** Im Confused . .
So How Would I Load Up Brawl With My Own Music ?

Put your old codes back on and play like you usually do
But When I Upload My Textures I Have To Export It To .GCT
Its Not Going To Delete My Music ?
