Check the SD card and make sure it's on there, in the right directory, which should be:I just retried again and I still get no custom music. It just plays the regular track that I was supposed to replace. >_>

I re-converted the file and all and this problem is still cropping up.So, this has worked perfectly for me except for one problem...
I was testing out one song, and slightly before it should have looped, it turned to the Caramelldansen. I did put Caramelldansen into the game, but on another stage (specifically Battlefield, over the Melee Battlefield song) and it played and looped perfectly there. But on Spear Pillar, over the Diamond/Pearl Wild Pokemon music, it came in and was the bad, scratchy quality that people have described in this thread. But it didn't even finish playing.
I took a video of it, you can see it here.
I'll try to fool around with the song a little more, but this doesn't make any sense to me.
Tried this. All I ended up with was everything becoming as quiet as the custom music, and I had to turn the volume on my TV way up. And when it went to the music that's actually in the game, guess what happened? ><If you want the music to be louder, just change the sound to music ratio under the brawl sfx menu under options.

Check the SD card and make sure it's on there, in the right directory, which should be:
[SD Card's drive letter]:\private\wii\app\RSBE\pf\sound\strm
Especially if you told the program to automatically put it in the SD card. That always screws up for me so I just do it manually.
What is this I don't even...I re-converted the file and all and this problem is still cropping up.
Even worse, I was playing on Norfair where I have changed Marionation Gear to Magmoor Caverns. When that was getting ready to loop, the same sort of quality change happened, but this time it was Pursuit ~ Cornered, which I put on Melee Final Destination on Final Destination. Then partway through that, Ghost Love Score, which I placed on Pirate Ship replacing the song Tal Tal Heights, cut in from its beginning but sounded normal. Then shortly after it began it went back to the beginning of Magmoor Caverns.
I have no clue what the hell is going on. O_o If anyone can help me here, it would be greatly appreciated.
10lookearlierinthreadJust a request to BionicSonic, is it possible for you to add the step from Androus program that lets you set the starting point of the loop? As in, after the length of the song is reached it goes to X amount of samples for looping purposes.
Also, my friends all appreciate your work into this program, and you've made my life easier with something I can refer people to.
Just finished putting my first non-Nintendo song into Brawl thanks to this program! Excellent job! :D
There's one thing about all of this though I'm still seeking and would like to know more about. I did lots and lots of searching regarding looping, and it seems more or less everyone is talking about generally editing a song so it sounds seamless when it reaches the end of the track and goes back to the beginning. That's fine and all for some songs....
...But what about specified loop points?
As good as all of this already is, does anybody know if it's possible to specify exactly where in the song you want the game to loop? You know....so it behaves like nearly every other song in the game?
If anybody's even remotely knowledgeable with the subject or knows of a site or tutorial that figured out how to make a song file loop at a specific point - even after turned into a .brstm, I would be really grateful!
Personally I was hoping that by using both Audacity and Goldwave to locate the specific points of my .wav file and eventually adding cue points to it, the converted .brstm file would recognize the points and act accordingly. I guess though it's way more complex than that. Silly me, but I tried. I read of some more complex methods regarding looping, but I'm kind of at a loss regarding those....
Anomilus, Androu1's Tool requires you to fill out the looping points of the song (start and end) I do not know if this program does this, but if it doesn't, that's why. Please use Androu1's Tool to make it loop properly if this does not do it yet.
Well...the way I designed the program was to start at the very beginning of the song, and the end of the song is specified by you so that it automatically loops back to start. Androu's tools have a start tool specification...I didn't think it was needed though since, with Audacity, you can highlight and delete certain parts of the song and then put it through my program. (Or at least, that's what I was doing)
Well...
1) You're kinda overlooking that I created this tool just to replace songs in Brawl, not much else...the reason why I don't add stuff like sound effects or victory themes is because I got lazy on that part =\
2) This isn't a replacement for Androu1's tool, let's just say that my program is a simpler/easier/noob-friendly way of creating songs as I intended, not the complicated stuff that all of the other guides detailed. But Androu1's tool still has a start point and has the ability to make mono/stereo victory themes non-looped.
This is not the thread to ask for that (if you mean texture hacks).does any one know where to find if possible the files for fighter stances.
Oh, sorry about that >.> I didn't even think about the loudness of the regular songs. Well, i have something to watch out for, now.Tried this. All I ended up with was everything becoming as quiet as the custom music, and I had to turn the volume on my TV way up. And when it went to the music that's actually in the game, guess what happened? ><
Nope, if you renamed it to something like N01, it'll be played on Smashville lol. Go ahead and rename it, as long as it's playable and the File Patch 3.2a can find it.Random question, if you make a .brstm for FD, say it's called X04.brstm for example. If you just renamed it, would it work on another stage? I guess what I'm asking is, is the name of the .brstm file what determines where the track will played, or is there some internal factor IN the brstm that places it at a certain stage.
No I mean is there a file that contains the sound for the 3 different fighter stances. This is not the thread to ask for that (if you mean texture hacks).
As Darkshadow said, v0.7 has the feature quite easily implemented. I've also tested the feature personally -- I replaced the Metroid victory theme with the opening words of Super Metroid and it worked perfectly.is there any way to modify the victory themes?
Likely code conflicts. What other codes do you have on, other than File Patch 3.2a?Great program, but I ran into a few problems:
My Wii is freezing before I get to the WiFi waiting room. Is it because I am using other replacement codes, like textures, too?
When I try to edit Victory themes, the Z01 is 0:00, nonetheless, I replaced the file, and when I went to brawl to check out the victory theme, it froze my game.

if your playing with texture's, try playing without them. otherwise it might be something with the song.Ok I encountered some weird freezing last night.
1st) I played a replaced song in the sound test menu to see if it worked
2nd) I went to the character select screen which turns off the music played in the sound test menu and plays the menu song (which of course was changed as well)
3rd) As soon as I picked my character the game froze but the music was still playing.
This happened twice mind you
Nope. Everyone knows they ought to add this instead:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZnu5xRa-Z4&feature=related
