masamunecyrus, if you're reading this, apologies for not replying to your dynamic range compression post, but honestly I don't think I really have anything more to say. However, couldn't you have just manually amplified the quiet part of the song without touching the actual dynamics?

I WOULD however love for that gain value to be figured out Having an automatic 95db average playback gain without dynamic range compression and clipping would ROCK.

Seems to be a few issues with darksamus77's Facility brstm...

1. Volume is too quiet - while good for audiophiles (no dynamic range compression), its audiophile cred is tarnish by...

2. Changed samplerate (44.1Khz) - the original USF is 22047Hz, and it would be best to slightly speed it up to 22050Hz (for max compatibility) and use that. This also gives a bonus of having a smaller file size.
