I tried the code you just posted. It seemed to have no effect. =(

Edit: I see how the Dash Dance code works. It doesn't quite let you cancel your animation like in melee. It just lets you change directions without stopping once you're in a full dash.

However, the 3rd jump glitch still seems to exist with it.

No one cares about a glitch that gives like 7 players unnecessary lag that can be forced which means a free hit? Why is this? Is it because no one is smart enough to use this to their advantage? Ppl should care about the triple jump glitch. My friend is ecstatic now that he doesn't have to be fearful of this after recovering and always having to find a safe place to do a stupid short hop to relieve the lag.
But it doesn't seem to work for Marth and some other characters.

I don't get why you guys are trying to remove the locks. They're mostly hard to set up and are examples of the few combos that exist in normal brawl. I understand changing sheik's f-tilt (which I wouldn't support anyways), but some characters rely a lot on locks. Plus there are some codes I simply would prefer having in the game besides some anti lock code.

With higher hitstun setting up locks are much easier since a lot of the attacks put you into such positions.

Because locks are stupid. I wouldn't even call that a combo in regular brawl either. Idk why you would still use locks when hitstun allows actual combos
OP updated. Kupo (or anyone else), if I missed anything, let me know.
looks good to me.

I have tried the triple jump glitch and all the characters you said it did not work on, worked. It works fine for me ..

The only lock I actually like having is Sheik's; it's not infinite, you need charged needles, and it's pretty hard to land. It also looks cool.

But giving Falco the ability to rack your damage up well above 300% just because you miss a tech (a frequent occurance given hitstun and a decreased tech window) is absolutely absurd.

So do you think an increased tech window should be added to the code list? I do.

Falco's doesn't rack up that much damage if you di it right unless you're like right next to him when you miss the tech. If you want to remove something gayer, take out grab release stuff cuz there's nothing you can do about it and leads to infinites on certain characters, are much more common and easier to set up. Plus there are two types of the "bouncing on the floor" animation for each character. One for low percents and one for higher percents. You can test it out using Ness' d-tilt before 100% and after 110% on Wolf.

I don't understand why we should make teching easier. Just learn the timing. I understand learning technical skill is annoying but aren't there more important things we should worry about?

A decent reason to maybe make the tech window larger would be if people end up changing the ledgegrabbing stuff. Actually... can you even edgetech attacks that don't send you towards the stage the same way like in Melee? I remember reading that you can't tech the wall during hitlag with SDI like you could before. You simply no longer collide with a wall surface if you SDI into it or something. Edgeguarding could be kinda dumb if the ledgegrab mechanics were to be changed.

I think teching should be easier because there are a LOT more moves that put you in the teching position really quickly. Its like they are moves that when used are untechable because of how quickly they throw you to the ground. Im not trying to advocate an easy game, but teching now with more hitstun feels as awkward as the manual l canceling code...

Lol, that's why I said before that 13% might just be a tad high.
lol, First I was around 18% and thought it was good and ppl said no 15% is perfect. So I tried 15% and said, yea this is perfect then ppl said no 13% is perfect. So I tried it and I think 13% is good. Now you say 13% is too much. I wonder if I will go down again ^_^

That is because as people become more experienced with the new hitstun, they gain familiarity with comboes and they become easier and easier to do. Even with 13% I find myself comboing across the map with Fox for 0-70% (and having an easy to land death combo from about 90-100%) against almost all characters, and getting comboed to death from 80% with pretty much any startup attack against Toon Link.

To be honest, I'd personally like wavedashing/S-cancel but reduced hitstun (so that the same comboes are possible but more skill-intensive so that they can't be pulled off whilst not really paying attention), but my friends aren't too keen on that.

Then again, we almost always play Brawl in teams, where comboes are easy to break up with reasonable teamwork, but sick team comboes can also be performed.

I'm even starting to think that 10% is too high. Just from a throw you can pretty much combo anyone to the edge and gimp them. I played my friend's Ike with C Falcon and down throw to dash attack to up tilt and then follow up off the stage is like guarenteed 0- death gimp ko. Maybe he just has bad DI.
Marth is EXTREMELY gay. Meta Knight is obviously broken. Snake didn't seem that bad. Didn't really play anybody else.
