Does Falcon keep his Knee still?
Falcon Punch is the Knee's Smash 64 equivalent. Smash 64 is a step up from the others so Falcon's gotta be more intense.

I'd much rather see a Zcanceled Uair to a Falcon Punch than a Knee to a Knee

... okay?

It's not like I'm taking the japanese version as word of god. But it definitely has one or two things which help characters. Except for Fox being nerfed relative to the NA release. His Up-B with invincibility... It doesn't necessarily seem broken... but it's a bit much.
Isn't there a difference in the ability to DI? I'm not 100% sure tho

IIRC if you get hit, you can DI it but it does not change your direction. Such as if you are sent up and to the right, DI'ing down won't change your angle. You will still travel up and right.

Smash DI is the only kind of DI in SSB64. There are a spawn of DI tricks that can be done with it though, such as sliding DI and ledge DI (which still exists in Melee and Brawl, but is much easier to do here).

Also, I don't know if it was mentioned, but Ness' DJC needs to be changed so that he doesn't immediately drop but just halts upward momentum. If you don't know what I mean, just test the differences between 64 Ness and Melee Ness' DJC.

I got to change the title again.

I decided not to quit Brawl.

I just picked up a character who carries over between Melee and Brawl to a certain extent.

*EDIT* hell, even Brawl Minus.

I see you put your smash character as Young Link. How does Young Link transfer between brawl and minus? LOL Toon Link is not anywhere near the same as YL.

I didn't say to a large extent lol.

Is there any character who carries over completely between the two? Probably not.

Will Zelda and Sheik be seperate characters? I would find them to be just worse then everyone else if you took away one of ther Specials, but left the transformation.

And what about ZSS/Samus?

I'm remapping side specials to down special as soon as I finish figuring out this fighter.pac injection, and then modifying the new down specials as necessary.

PT will be all independent, Zelda/Sheik will also be independent, as there's no real way to fix the transform time.

ZSS/Samus will of course be independent. As to Samus... I'm currently looking into remapping Smash B to down... for a new attack.

Also, apologies to fans of Falco's Melee moveset, I've decided he'll be keeping much of his Brawl moveset, including the reflector kick.

What? I'm not removing bombs.

I'm giving her a Smash V B in addition to bombs, if possible.

It's mostly I want to keep her Smash B if possible.

He thought I was removing the bombs, I guess since I mentioned how I'm doing a general remap of side special to down special (mostly because I've heard how PT can't be given a proper down special.)

Smash V B will be a power-bomb if possible, most likely done by modifying the Super Missile.

Giving down specials to PT pokemon is fairly easy. However, it only works properly if you use independent pokemon.

Alright, then don't. I'm not forcing you to play Falco. Also, it's more a combination of Brawl and Melee.

Like... Brawl FAir is kind of silly. Since Fox has his 64 FAir, giving Falco his Melee FAir isn't a clone.

The thing is, I find large amounts of Falco's Melee moveset to be silly, in comparison to his Brawl moveset.

He is a BIRD. His moveset in some way should reflect that.

Yeah, but Fox already existed in 64, and for the most part I`m keeping the original characters' movesets intact, though I'm buffing the A tier and below characters slightly to keep up with Fox and Pikachu.

Haven't gotten there yet. Right now I'm more worried about other things, like, y'know, getting the characters back to their 64 forms. Learning to animate in Brawlbox and figuring out knockback, which is largely trial and error, is a bit time consuming.
