Well, I'm back and have re-read everything I missed (yes, that's right, I actually read )

Here is what I got (starting from my last post, somewhere around page 12 (too lazy to get the exact page number (brackets inside brackets inside brackets ftw )))

90% of the posts were arguments over whether or not we should have a scum list (or other playstyle-related arguments).

a few people think cacti is suspiscious.

MM claimed Watcher.

Seriously guys, in three days, you have done nothing other than argue. Lets have an actual discussion on who we believe is scum. Otherwise, we'll reach the deadline still arguing over playstyle and have no lynch discussion (resulting in a likely mis-lynch).

I was simply trying to get you to explain yourselves, as I either mis-understood your guys' post (which seems to be the case, because the way I read it made both of you very scummy), or it was a confusing suspicious post. I've been trying to start discussion. Sure my method hasn't been the best method, but at least I'm trying to get discussion going (I've probably played too many games to play the noob card, but I'm still a noob lol).

If you re-read my posts, you'll see I have never been vague or anything like the way you described Kevin. I never told people to vote for you (at least, not intentionally). I don't see how I could be at the top of your scumlist... unless it's because I voted for you.

Well... I'll be away from the computer for a tournament on the weekend, and I won't be able to post until either Sunday night or Monday. So that said, Unvote, and I'll re-read everything once I come back. I may go on the computer at like 8:20 pacific time if I wake up early enough before I have to catch the bus, but I highly doubt I will. So that said, good luck guys, and see you in a few days

I guess I didn't make it clear enough (I barely noticed it when I saw it), but I did try to unvote before I left.

As for scummy people, well... I am pretty sure that one of Kevin, MM, and Ryker are scum (only possible double would be MM and Ryker). Here is why I think each seem scummy. (if I put more than one in a category, that doesn't mean all are together scum for that reason, but that they all did that, so that reason applies to all of them).

All three of them for constantly attacking eachother (basically resulting in no useful discussion). This doesn't mean I think all three are scum, but one of them is likely scum trying to stall the argument long enough to reduce good discussion.

Ryker and MM due to their buddying and constant defending of eachother. Also, although playing with a different (possibly unseen) playstyle isn't bad, the way they are playing seems somewhat suspicious, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now.

Kevin for trying to get everyone to quick lynch someone (was Ryker and MM, but I think he switched to cacti).

Though what somewhat confuses me is MM's claim. Up until that point, I was very sure he was scum. So although I do still have some suspicion that he is possibly scum, I don't want to risk losing a town power role.

The person I find the scummiest is Ryker. Just the way he posts, and defends himself and MM... I don't know... I just don't think he's town.

So that said, my probable order of scumminess would likely be Ryker, MM, then Kevin, but I'd rather not lynch MM due to his claim. If he seems scummy later, then I'll be fine lynching him, but I think it's too big a risk at the moment.

Other then that, well, not many people have posted nearly enough times as they have, so their posts have been overshadowed by these three's arguments. So... don't know about anyone else. Though I am pretty sure that between the three mentioned, one of the three are guaranteed to be scum.

And before a possible typo appears, I initially confused Ryker and Ronike, and posted Ronike everywhere instead of Ryker, so if you see Ronike, I meant to say Ryker.

Have you never seen a game that has masons with roles other than plain townie with benefits? At this point, I wouldn't mind either a Ryker lynch or a Kevin lynch. Both have been making very scummy posts, and have been at each other's throats since the beginning of the game. This could be SvS, TvT, or SvT. Here's my reasoning on why it could or could not be each:

If it were SvS, then... well, they're idiots. They have basically guaranteed a scum lynch day 1. I'm sure they aren't idiots, so this rules out SvS.

Both have been making very scummy posts, making TvT very unlikely. My reasoning for their scummy posts:

Kevin has been attacking MM and Ryker (mostly Ryker) since almost the start of the game. Although some of his reasoning seems logical, most of his reasons are either contradictory of previous reasons or very weak reasons which shouldn't warrant a lynch. He's been trying to quick-lynch one of them since the start of the game. His posts seem to either give away that he either is 100% confirmed that Ryker is scum, or he is scum and is desparately trying to get a mis-lynch on a townie Ryker.

Ryker, on the other hand, has made many weak defenses to people's accusations. Some of his defenses even make him (and for some posts, MM) look even scummier. Not much else to say... other than he's been acting very scummy.

So that said, it is very unlikely (in my opinion) that this is a TvT argument.

So that leaves us with SvT (with reasons also explained in the TvT section). I'm basically 90% convinced that this is the case.

So... assuming that this is the case, I would say it would be best if we were to lynch one of the two of them today. Depending on their flip, we will have info on other people (and virtual confirmed roles for both of them and MM). So, that said, here is what would happen if we were to vote each (guaranteed being 90% guaranteed, but I'm too lazy to write that over and over again, so I'll just write guaranteed):

We vote Ryker. He flips town. Kevin is guaranteed scum, while MM is guaranteed town. MM has been trying to convince everyone that Ryker is town due to his playstyle (which MM says is how he plays town). Thus, MM would be cleared.

We vote Ryker. He flips scum. Kevin is guaranteed town, while MM is very likely scum. Basically the reverse of the town flip. Since Ryker is scum, MM's read on Ryker is wrong (which he says he is very sure Ryker is town), making him a high suspect of being scum (though not guaranteed, since he may be town and had just mis-read Ryker... but he seems too convinced of Ryker's position for this to be the case).

We vote Kevin. He flips town. Ryker is guaranteed scum, while MM is likely scum. Same reasoning for MM as the Ryker scum flip above.

We vote Kevin. He flips scum. Both Ryker and MM are guaranteed town.

So that said, I believe we should lynch either Kevin or Ryker, as we virtually learn the identity of two other players.

I do agree that I think this is SvT, in my opinion it's likely to be Kevin (scum) v Ryker (town). However, I disagree with the plan that who flips scum will give a 100% perfect read on another player. If Kevin gets lynched and is shown to be scum, then I'm not going to think Ryker to be any more innocent than I already thought he was. He could have been a scum trying to distance himself from Kevin or I could be a scum trying to distance from Kevin and it shouldn't confirm me innocent.

If Ryker were lynched and shown innocent, then I would be even more suspicious of Kevin, but if Ryker were scum I would give Kevin more slack for town, but I wouldn't completely rule out that he was trying to distance from Ryker. Further, it would be ridiculous to say that I HAVE to be scum simply because my read on Ryker was worse than I thought. I would understand being a high suspect, but I wouldn't be confirmed scum.

Basically, I'm just saying don't assume that the lynch would be a complete guarantee of anything. It could be an indicator to help us guess, but not guaranteed proof.
