In 2009 Jam Stunna went through with an idea that would quickly cement itself as a staple of Smash World Forums’ User Blogs section, Blog of the Week. It provided with at least a small incentive to write blogs and put effort into them, of course Blog of the Week isn’t a Nobel Prize, but there’s no denying a bit of recognition and praise feels good.
In that spirit, I have decided to set this up, Blog of the Year. However unlike Blog of the Week it was Jam’s decision, before becoming mine or CK’s, I’ve decided that you would choose your favourite blog of this year from the list of Blogs of the Week. This isn’t so much a quality of writing (or whatever you’d like to call it) contest, but more the blog that you just loved.
This will be split into two phases:
The Nomination Round: In this round I want the list to be significantly refined to a list of 5. Thus, You will nominate 5 blogs that will go through to the final round.
The Voting Round: I will set up a poll for the 5 most popular blogs of 2009, it will be a single choice poll and so you vote for your absolute favourite.

June 21st- The WUSSIFICATION of America!
June 28th- Is Human Compassion Illogical?
August 23rd- Home Repair: A Lesson In Anger Management
August 30th- Pierce's Experience at SNES
September 6th- What is love? Baby don't hu-*Relationships Edition*
September 20th- My feelings on Christianity/The Bible
October 12th- Teran's SWF Journey
October 19th- The Educational System is near useless
November 29th- A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words
December 13th- Use Blogs Group Story
