I think they might make Webber go out as a broadcaster for games like Reggie.

ohhh, i thought you were implying that pakistan was somehow very similar to turkey (since they're kinda sorta close to each other and all). my fault my fault. What I'm trying to get at is the "culture" change. Different foods, roads, climate, clothes, etc. etc. There's a drastic change from me living in America and then to go spend a month in Pakistan. I'm sure guys like Deron or Kobe will be able to afford a nice place to live, but it's not like they'll sit down and have a hamburger or steak everyday. I mean hell, guys like Kobe have nice cars and I know for a fact Kobe has a helicopter. It's gonna be tough spending a lot of your life over there without those luxuries.
And let's not forget the language barrier.
Goodness, that's a long way off lol.http://www.nba.com/2011/news/07/19/schedule/
tada, the schedule for the '11-'12 NBA season, and you can only guess who's playing on Christmas Day
That would be great. I always thought he was suited for that, even when he was a player.I think they might make Webber go out as a broadcaster for games like Reggie.
Honestly, you know what'd be funny? If players who didn't go to college like LeBron James went to college to play. The competition in college is probably better than in the Euro League.I never thought the NBA could potentially be outsourced to other countries to this extent. The NBA lockout is more serious than I originally thought.
I think Yao has a couple of things going for him in the HOF voting. Yao was an exceptional free throw shooter, and had good shooting success. He also had great post-season success, and great post-season numbers. His rebounds numbers were pretty good (maybe great). He had a variety of scoring moves, and good legs until injuries plagued his latter part of his career. The realist in me thinks Yao won't be a Hall of Famer, but the optimist in me hopes they will consider what he brought to the game, as well as to the international community and globalizing the sport. If they take the latter into consideration, I think he would be a shoo-in as a Hall of Famer.
Basically the Players Union and the Owners are "trying" to negotiate a new long term contract that will consist of mainly salary changes among other things. Without this contract, the players cannot play, and the owners have no team to put on the floor. Hence a 'lockout" because both sides can't come to an agreement. If I may ask, what is the lockout?
Man I feel so out of this.

My 49ers got a couple young d-backs that were badly needed (Glad to see that loser Clements go!), plus the 9ers got more reliable backups in every position (except middle linebacker), and upgraded the center position, and got a great quarterback of the future waiting. And Aldon Smith is a beast. He went to Missouri, and broke all of Justin Smith's records (the 49ers current two time Pro Bowl defensive end who's never missed a game). Albeit Takeo Spikes' exits still hurts, but at least they didn't sign T NO!My 49ers...forever alone.
Only move they made was getting Braylon Edwards. Crabtree is "hurt", and they finally released that useless overpaid Nate Clements.
I was hoping they'd get Awesome-ooga.
Tampa is hilarious though...50 mil in cap room and they don't do anything with it LOL.
