I'm just really surprised that Nintendo hasn't taken action yet like they do with other fan games. Probably because it contains other copyrighted content that they do not own if I'm guessing right.I always thought Smash Flash 2 was pretty impressive for a fan game. Especially because it took years to make. Usually those kind of projects just die off. But many of the character picks don't interest me. And I'm not just talking about the anime characters.
The stages are pretty good though. I like most of them better than Smash Wii U/Ultimate's new stages.
Oh, that makes more sense.I think it was for Smash Legacy XP as Mage Ganondorf was in Toad's trailer and he is exclusive to that mod.
I don't know. I'm sure people on the Smash Legacy XP team had confidence in Banjo & Kazooie happening in Ultimate, but I highly doubt any of them had close sources within Microsoft or Nintendo that told them it's happening. That makes me wonder...did...did they know Banjo was coming home? Or were they just hinting in case he wasn't?

It’s funny I’ve seen that trailer quite a few times, and didn’t see that part. It’s quite an obvious hint, too.Project M is preparing to make Banjo into the game. They hinted at it in the ending of Toad's trailer.
And speaking of the trailer, Blocked Content and Lax Chris thought it was a real Ultimate trailer. But, I knew it wasn't. Samus and Peach looked way different than they do in Ultimate. Plus, the fact that I knew Nintendo wouldn't ignore us Banjo fans. Again. For the third time. (I was going to be extremely angry if Steve got in over Banjo. Then, give up on Smash altogether after that! But, they listened. :') And it payed off.)It’s funny I’ve seen that trailer quite a few times, and didn’t see that part. It’s quite an obvious hint, too.
Yeah, that's why Blocked Content and Lax Chris aren't reliable--they attach themselves to any rumor, and make any jump, to get clickbait videos out. I don't know if they're genuine and naive, or do it intentionally, but I try my best to ignore them. I think Toad is from a stand-alone modder, the same guy is also working on a Waluigi moveset and Pac-Man so I don't know if he's part of the Legacy XP team or not. It seems his mods will work with Project M, though, so maybe they also work with Legacy XP?I think it was for Smash Legacy XP as Mage Ganondorf was in Toad's trailer and he is exclusive to that mod.
Same. Though her only chance at this point is if she gets fan supported alongside the SF2 gals, seeing as that game helped sell the SNES Mini. What about Krystal? I want her playable in the actual games.
Huh, and I was worried most women fans hated Krystal because she's...well...I would say it, but, not sure if I will not get penalized for it...Generally speaking, they only take action against Mario or Metroid games that are either mods of high-profile games, or are similar to stuff they're planning to do.
Heck, SSF1 had MR INCREDIBLE/BOB PARR as a roster character. Smash fan games are pretty much fan fiction, as far as everyone's concerned.

Well you know, you find that kind of person in any fandom involving animal folk. Can't help it.Huh, and I was worried most women fans hated Krystal because she's...well...I would say it, but, not sure if I will not get penalized for it...
But Crusade was a fanfiction that put a character in a fan Smash game before Sakurai and the development team even put him in Smash at all... . Hopefully they get another prediction right with Porky.Generally speaking, they only take action against Mario or Metroid games that are either mods of high-profile games, or are similar to stuff they're planning to do.

Trust me there is a lot of men that hate Krystal too. This was this one dude on Youtube that was going to comment sections of Star Fox videos telling people that the only people that would want her in Smash are furry perverts. It's surreal how much certain people hate Krystal.Huh, and I was worried most women fans hated Krystal because she's...well...I would say it, but, not sure if I will not get penalized for it...
Let's hope Nintendo tried again with Star Fox! Maybe, after Metroid Prime 4, we can ask Retro Studios to take the helm and make a new Star Fox! They have proven they can revitalize Nintendo franchises with great care. They proved it with Metroid Prime, and then revived the Donkey Kong Country series! I am confident they can do the same with Star Fox!Well you know, you find that kind of person in any fandom involving animal folk. Can't help it.
Besides, the Star Fox series is on the verge of extinction nowadays, so Krystal isn't so much on the forefront these days. Besides in that bikini, anyway.
Can you tell me his name? But Crusade was a fanfiction that put a character in a fan Smash game before Sakurai and the development team even put him in Smash at all... . Hopefully they get another prediction right with Porky.

To be fair, Sora is independent from Nintendo. If they C&Ded Smash fan projects, that would only tip people off towards roster inclusions. But Crusade was a fanfiction that put a character in a fan Smash game before Sakurai and the development team even put him in Smash at all... . I don't remember, it doesn't matter honestly. The dude even called one Krystal fan out and saying he would be celebrating by f****** in the bathroom all day. The dude was obviously a troll. Can you tell me his name?
Well, that's fine. As for Krystal, not upset she was an Assist Trophy this time. She can still show up on stages to join Fox, and soon... A certain duo...GUH-UH! BREE!I don't remember, it doesn't matter honestly.
I'd consider it yellow, more golden than orange. So would Banjo-Kazooie's Smash color be considered orange? I figure they would get yellow.
Looking back, Joker's character page was unavailable for months before his release date. That was justified with the idea that his model wasn't completely ready. Plus, we didn't know he would get an academy alt, so maybe they were hiding that.
My point is, Banjo looks complete, so why isn't his page available? Hero's page was despite not being released at the time. My theory is that they are hiding something else. They can easily pick what images to show to avoid spoiling something, so the only thing left that they can't hide on his page is his alt colors. Perhaps one of his alts isn't just a recolor.

I'm still re-watching reactions as well--I've seen so many. And it was great their reveal happened at E3 so there's much more reactions than there otherwise would be. Media types such as Giant Bomb, Polygon, Kinda Funny Games, Easy Allies--Youtubers I like such as Ross, SomeCallMeJohnny, Blind Wave, Jacksepticeye--in addition to pro players such as Tweek ("it's so cuuuuuuuuute"), Nairo, Zero, eSam, Mew2King, Shofu, Leffen--a VO artist for Gumball of all people. There's sooooo many reactions.Watching reaction videos to Banjo & Kazooie's reveal back in E3 2019 (yes, still re-watching reactions), Duck Hunt trolling the audience, and then Banjo & Kazooie dropping in on him reminded me of Cloud's reveal in Sm4sh. The reveal didn't have a trolly moment, BUT near the end of the reveal where Cloud squares off against Ike, Cloud shows him how the Final Smash is TRULY done (since Ike's Great Aether looks similar to Cloud's Omnislash). This time around, Banjo & Kazooie dropped in like "oh, you think you got the combo all figured out?! GU-HUH?!?!"
It's sad though that we can't get Dixie Kong in a picture with DK, Diddy, K. Rool, Banjo & Kazooie, and Krystal. And no, the Mii hat doesn't count.Well, that's fine. As for Krystal, not upset she was an Assist Trophy this time. She can still show up on stages to join Fox, and soon... A certain duo...GUH-UH! BREE!
And I am still pinching myself thinking this is a dream! OW! OW! OW! OWWWWWWW! Ow. Well I'm not dreaming!I'd consider it yellow, more golden than orange.
And yeah, I'm thinking everything is done outside of balancing at this point, so their character models/animations/visual elements are all done. I'm thinking it might be due to them announcing two fighter's at once--they want to give Hero room. That being said, I think unfortunately we're waiting until either Banjo & Kazooie's gameplay trailer or the Fall Direct, whichever comes first. It's fine, though, all I know is in a couple months I'll be playing them, and that's awesome.

I'm so glad they did CGI trailers for DLC characters--looking back at the Smash 4 DLC trailers, there is a big difference between them. I love the callback to the end of the game, followed by an image of Banjo & Kazooie back with their family--they didn't do that for most characters, they did that for us.
Yeah, sad they didn't send a bit of rules and had Krystal in Banjo & Kazooie's reveal. She'd probably be like me, :') wiping away tears of joy for her getting a glorious reunion of long lost family! It's sad though that we can't get Dixie Kong in a picture with DK, Diddy, K. Imagine if Krystal and Dixie were playable and were in that tree house with the bois. The Banjo & Kazooie reveal trailer would have been 5 times better no pun intended.Yeah, sad they didn't send a bit of rules and had Krystal in Banjo & Kazooie's reveal. It would've been better. I even have plans to use SFM to recreate the intro and ending parts of the duo's trailer, with Krystal added, plus, adding my own scenes from the game with Krystal in them! Once I learn to edit...and get a capture card...and permission from Nintendo...Imagine if Krystal and Dixie were playable and were in that tree house with the bois, the Banjo & Kazooie reveal trailer would have been 5 times better no pun intended.
Yep. Whatever happens with Banjo next, we're getting it too.https://www.ign.com/articles/2019/0...rs-might-launch-on-playstation-and-switch-too
So this is interesting with respect to BK and the Switch:
>Traditionally when a platform acquires a studio, it buys the rights to publish every future game on its own console. But Xbox seem to be toying with leniency; in an interview with Game Informer, Xbox's first-party studios boss Matt Booty said that Microsoft-owned developers like Double Fine and Obsidian might still be able to create games for rival platforms in the future."
>He revealed Xbox would consider allowing studios to continue creating multiplatform games after being acquired, saying "I think that the question is less binary about, ‘should it be on Switch, should it be on PlayStation?’ and more, ‘does it make sense for the franchise?’
“In other words, is it a kind of game where it would benefit from the network effect of being on a bunch of different platforms, or is it a game where we can best support it by putting resources and making sure that our platforms, things like xCloud and Game Pass and Xbox Live, are really leaning in to support the game?"
And I say it's moving the goalpost and/or tempting fate, seeing as most people believed Hero would release in August.Banjo's gameplay presentation will be October 8th, with a release that day or the next.
A direct will be Sept 19th which will show character 4 who will release early December.
How do I know this? I don't. Just making things up as I go. But if I say it so matter-of-factly, perhaps the universe will believe it too.
The universe answered me back, said 'Screw you and your matter-of-factliness' and said that Banjo is coming October 8th, 2028.And I say it's moving the goalpost and/or tempting fate, seeing as most people believed Hero would release in August.
But yeah, this is pretty much what people have been doing. Causality will prove them wrong somehow.
So...in laymen's terms...Banjo could come home permeantally!https://www.ign.com/articles/2019/0...rs-might-launch-on-playstation-and-switch-too

Maybe not permanently (that would require Microsoft to sell Rare to Nintendo, or something of that nature), but at the very least, he can visit more often.So...in laymen's terms...Banjo could come home permeantally!
You made me imagine Banjo and Kazooie saying their goodbyes to the N64 cast after Ultimate. "See you guys next Smash!"Maybe not permanently (that would require Microsoft to sell Rare to Nintendo, or something of that nature), but at the very least, he can visit more often.
For the record, I'll still be around until the DLC cycle ends (probably not on February). At that point, there isn't much that I'd be able to do, especially if it's a post-DLC salt mine for the following years until the next console/Smash turns up.To think it's been over 2 months since the promised day. Our years of struggle is finally over. Most of the regulars, that used to frequent this thread, have moved on.
It's kinda sad in a way. Like when your favorite anime ends. It may end in the best possible way you can think of, but you're still a little bummed it's over.
Also good!Maybe not permanently (that would require Microsoft to sell Rare to Nintendo, or something of that nature), but at the very least, he can visit more often.
