I upload console matches and training mode combos.

Please comment if you like my videos. I upload them for Viewers Like You, and it's nice to know they are appreciated. Advice and tips are appreciated of course as well.

I'm now commentating some of the videos on my YouTube channel, so check them out.

Nice falcon combos.

Esp the pawnch and bair>dair.

Commentary was meh. And i think the game sound is too loud, or your voice is too soft.

Idk i liked em all.

Naw its not that yours is bad..i just dont find others talking about smash64 very interesting.

I would rather listen to my music while watching the video on mute :p

I just watched the commentated vids. Your voice needs to be amped. Also, you didn't sound very excited and stuff.

Try being more active in your commentary. You know how you think better than anyone else, so describe your how you went about approaching your opponent, why you chose certain moves, your mistakes and what a better choice would have been, etc.

Tips to being a great commentator.

3. Excitement - People need to feel a part of your commentary and not bored of it. Don't be too excited, can't annoy the audience.
2. Informative - Don't have to describe every bit going on in the match, but explaining why you or someone did something, or why you shouldn't do something at crucial points is very helpful.
1. Entertaining - It would be better if you commentate on the match, but going a bit off topic is okay. Puns, jokes, bringing up something you like to do or did that day...etc... all that kinds of stuff that gives personality is of great value and keeps a wider audience interested.

Lol not trying to sound like an expert, just something I noticed while watching lots of commentary on machinima and all that.
You seem to be on the right track so uhh just keep them coming. :)

Yeah I did the two videos really quickly to see how it would work. I definitely need to turn up the volume (or turn down the game sound). I'll also try to get more EXCITED (it helps that the matches I haven't uploaded yet have some things to get EXCITED about! :) )

Just say "FALCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNCCCCCHHH" then remain slient for the rest of the video. That's pretty much my philosophy for life.

i think the commentary was good. u explained alot of good points in the matches, some of the combos, and things that both of us couldve done better in certain situations. i think maybe having another person commentate with you would really amp up the commentating. also, maybe try lowering the game music. if ur commentating a match, i would much rather listen to what ur sayin than listen to the music :)

It's great if you legitimately get excited, but don't force the excitement, it's just going to be painful to listen to.

legitimately getting excited while commentating on a video on your own is...well...

if anyone's ever heard the commentary to the 100% Banjo Kazooie TAS, they'll know what I mean, but it ranges from overly try-hard to EAR-SPLITTINGLY HORRIBLE

which is why dandan + tiger worked so well

So I have 32 new videos that I recorded today. 11 of them are tournament matches (not all of which are mine). What should I do for uploading?

a) Upload them all - tourney matches first.
b) Upload only my matches
c) Pick and choose the matches that I think are best or most entertaining
d) Other?

What should I do?
