I'm typing on my iPhone now at the hospital, and my son was just born. 8 pounds 11 ounces. We named him Geno. Geno Romiano sounds like a mafia boss. Thanks Smashboards for the help.

Off the list, I like Blake, Ganon, & Roy, but whatever you & your wife choose is the best option.

For the love of God, please don't name your child after a videogame character. There's an acceptable amount of self-indulgence when you name your children, but THEY have to live with that name for the rest of their lives (or go through the trouble of changing it), not you.

If you're hell-bent on naming your kid after a videogame character, go with Roy. That's at least normal.

Out of those options, I'll go along with everybody and Derek. I just like those names. But when the time comes, pick whatever you want it to be.

Also, those names are boys names. Is your wife having a boy or are you taking the boy names while she takes the girl ones?

I'd be pretty careful naming your child some of those names.
Klavier just means piano in German, plus it's not even a masculine noun...it's neuter.
Kristoph could be okay, but only if you have some German ancestry to back it up.
Frodo is a terrible name for a kid.
I echo Darkslash's sentiments on Geno.
Ganon is just as bad as Frodo.
Stan could be good, especially if the full name is Stanley.
Blake and the rest are all pretty above par names, so I'd go with one of those.

I think out of all these I like Blake the most. It's still unique, but not ridiculous.

A giant NO to Ganon and Frodo. Name your dog that, not your son. Zelda and LotR are way too popular to get away with that. And Frodo is not a good name, anyways. Wllie will get him made fun of in school, too. It's cool to want to name your kid after someone you and your wife have in common, but remember that your kid has to live with this name.

I agree with Muggy that Klavier is eh. Could you imagine if a foreigner named their kid piano, and then that kid came to the states for study or something? Lol.
