Inui... being Captain is not about recognition. It's just about being a person that if there is a problem or conflict people will feel comfortable falling back on your ultimate decision. If there's an argument or a spat about who should or should not go in, it won't be... "I'm Captain and this is what I say and this goes!" More like the entire crew will discuss it amongst themselves, compromise, and if there is still a disagreement the players will still be comfortable with the Captain's final choice.
The Captain isn't given special recognition. This is a team activity that requires team effort meaning everyone single person gets the same amount of recognition as the other.

I'm pretty sure I'm doing just fine in singles these days when I care, only losing to people you don't beat either, while you're losing to people I beat (PatG lost to me, but beat you) and squandering against people I'd probably threestock (Projo's Toon Link).
You don't have much room to talk anymore, brah. You usually beat me in singles, but that doesn't mean **** atm. You said you have more knowledge relevant to this crew battle, but apparently you don't. I know player specific details that really none of you know or pay attention to on top of all the actual in-game knowledge I have that you also have

Omni, you are right. Buuuut I still think I'd be a gdlk captain if people would just listen, lol. I'm a very good tactician. Doom and Slikvik think so too, and Slikvik is MD/VA thus it's in his very DNA to hate me.

If people won't listen to you, then by definition you are not a good captain.

I think people should continue to vote on whether the region should split or not. I'm going to post a blog about it on AllisBrawl right now.
Edit: I think Inui's data and knowledge are superb. However, he's looking very weak in the leadership department right now due to EVERYONE quarreling with him and his attitude inciting anger, and both qualities are very important. There are a lot of people qualified for the job around here.
How about a panel for the crew battle? That way we don't have to leave everything up to one person and the clashing opinions/preexisting saltiness between players is less prominent.

Doom, i did propose the panel, its a good idea right? the 4 guys I nominated will do the job really well. They are all strong LEADERS. And have shown leadership and heart in the battle, which is what I as a spectator expect out of the people leading my crew.

Also, about Inui, I agree that he is a great tactician as well.
Inui, we had this debate in the SBR. We talked about leadership and what it consists of and why at your current state you wouldn't play the part. During the Anti-Ban MK movement you supplied the majority of the results and strategically argued what they represent from it statistical form to lamens terms. You have a really great asset in being a leader when it comes to knowledge, debating, arguing, etc., but you possess several weaknesses that hurt you more than help you in terms of being a leader.
No one can discredit what you could bring to the table, but understand what you're bringing isn't the qualities of a leader. I really wish you could grasp this idea.

LOL at this thread, fighting over who should be captain is funny. The top 10 that are in the crew are better then all of you, and have obviously proved it, they dont need advice for much, maybe for a few counterpicks and what other peolpe's playstyles are. That beign said the captain should be the person with the most knowledge of the other players in different regions, NOT ours, all of these nominations that peolpe are making are for peolpe who they think will do good as captain even though they dont know **** about the other regions.
The captain or captains should be Ally, Atomsk, Inui, ADHD, and Ninja Link. Not sure about md/va, but i hear Tant, Slik, and Omni know their stuff. All these players travel and read up on others. We honestly dont need a captain though because we're gonna win no matter what, but listening to these peolpe will make sure we completely dominate the other regions.

I still think that MD/VA should split from Atlantic North. I mean, look at this thread. As soon as people declared that we should stick together, drama ensues. When we were split, there was hardly any drama (at least in MD/VA). MD/VA had a lot of positive discussion going on. Without Inui on our team, we don't have to deal with him. I know Inui won't have to deal with us either. Everyone is happy. I know that the majority of MD/VA is for the split.
Someone suggested that we should stand down and let Atlantic North crew with MD/VA. That's cool and all, but the obvious winner of crew battles will be Atlantic North. There won't be any hype and it won't be fun. Theoretically, as Umbreon said to me, we could all pick straws and still win this crew battle.

instead of arguing with Inui where nothing can be achieved because its the internet, why doesn't the entire crew just agree to not let Inui act as captain and tell him/ force him to GTFO if he mentions anything about it IRL? he can't really do anything about it IRL when a whole crew is just saying GTFO

And I don't think any regions would accept your help. We'd want to do this **** on our own, and the last thing we would want is what the EC has to deal with, which is essentially a single person thinking they will get a ton of credit for winning a crew battle they didn't even play in.

Honestly for the sake of being considerate, avoid racism or religious stuff. If neither side judges the other (atheism vs faith, etc) then we're all alot better off.
Really Inui I think you should drop the act, because you're not going to lead the crew no matter how badly you want it now. You won't be accepted by the majority. No one is afraid of you being mad =/
