Whoa, this is the first time I've *ever* gotten 13th at an NJ/NY event where there were enough people for that to be possible. Improvement's a pretty cool feeling. Btw, I don't precisely what qualifies for having a character next to your name, but for clarity, I used Weegee for a set as a counterpick, and Bowser for only 1 game.

Venue is godly. Really easy to get friendlies/training/MMs going whenever you want. I would've liked to get there earlier for karts and doubles but SOME PEOPLE DECIDED THAT CABS ARE FOR SCRUBS.

Happy for Alex at having an amazing new venue to host at, and finally the megaphone you deserve. You should buy that thing from them. XD

Also, lol FF BK, and friendlies with NAKAT and Blue. <3 you guys.

edit: I would love an explanation for diddy "countering" mk aside from "Mk just has no options QQ."

Wow a big shoutout to everyone who came.

I was glad I reached the number I did and the event went super smooth. I had a megaphone and that made me happy. Sadly I missed crissy all day but I was happy to get friendlies

Fun Results = Upsets

The results here were pretty fun. A lot of the matches were great. Interesting results. I dont see characters as I see the players.

also, @ ally, at least you're beating all of them. How do you think I feel when I can destroy people in melee badly just to lose to Jigglypuff all the time for like 2/3rds of my tourney losses since brawl's release :\

It really happens more often with Melee...? I would've thought it was more of a Brawl phenomenon since mindgames are more vital, and therefore becoming mentally fatigued with the game, or making your playstyle too rote, starts to make you garbage.

who cares about HOW YOU feel, it's about OTHER People. I'd rather have my Snake AND mk banned so people have more fun and keep this game more alive

I LOVE Fighting both of them

I have a lot more fun fighting MK and Snake than I do like Wario and Diddy and Olimar and Falco and most other characters

if those 2 characters were removed this game would become a lot more dull to me

it would also be REALLY unfair

and i doubt im the only person that feels this way

Fighting MK is more fun to me than fighting Olimars, ICs, Diddys, Snakes, and .... probably more...


Although I can understand that it will get boring if nearly everyone is always playing MK... convince people that they can also do good with other characters. MK isn't that good (if planking is "banned"). Yes yes, he is really really good, but people are overhyping him, if just a little. <_<

MLG stagelist sucks a bit though. MK is too much **** on most of those CPs.
