whats a good strategy against campy snakes?
Don't get hit by nades.

Seriously though, don't let them go to FD. Smaller stages are better. Get really good at the air-dodge-cancelled-item-throw, and toss every nade back at Snake.

I'd need more specifics to answer this any better.

Heyy, Nick! Alright so wats first?
I know some things bout ZSS. But very very basic thing though.
Learn to recover. (When to go low, when to go high. When to quickly go for the ledge, when to go for the staqge.)
Get a feel for reacting to hits on your shield. (MK nairs your shield, you have time to jump and bair/uair the MK before he gets out of lag.
Learn when to d-smash, and when not to d-smash. (At least if you wanna be like me. If you don't wanna be like me, never use this move. :D)
That's a good start.

-I'll work on recovering.
-Wat are ZSS's best out of sheild options?uair, utilt, jAb? Are there any others?
-I somewhat know when to use dsmash.

Uair, utilt, d-tilt, bair, run.
Jab is good if you do it OOS when somebody hits you while they're airbourne. Otherwise they can shield the third hit and give you pain and hurt.

NickRiddle, how can I be amazing?
Very carefully.
It takes years of steady training under a waterfall, and learning the art of anger management to become amazing.

Also, read this thread. XD

Is there a specific timing on the infinite, or do I just mindlessly mash dsmash to keep em locked? I can get the jump-footstool-dair easy but the ROB always rolls away.

After the dair, do a reverse paralyzer. It locks for some reason.
I've also seen f-tilt or end of DA lock, so you can try one of those.

I can't actually do the infinite. ^^,

Learn to perfect shield -> dtilt, guys. Makes Marth matchup fun fun fun fun fun

Also, DI back out of Dancing Blade for dsmash x2 -> fair/bair. 15% trade for a 40% combo? Yes please.

That would be the amount of damage without degeneration, right?

Yes. and it's actually 39% XP

BUT THE POINT IS

you can punish whiffed dblade 3 and 4 with dsmash. ZSS also has the luxury of being a character that can DI out of it. So theoretically, if you can master this and do it every time, Marth's dblade becomes unsafe on HIT! An incredible blow to Marth's ground game.

No, I didn't mean to try and refute your claims. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't expecting 40% all the time. I'm glad to hear that I can DI out of DB, I'll be sure to remember that. Thanks.

Why does a crocodile?
LOL.

Nick, I'm gonna try to pick up ZSS as a second, since I'm really into complex characters. If you have any suggestions on things you think I should know(ANYTHING) then it would be awesome if you'd fill me in. :)

Hey Nick! I played with my dirends and gotta feel for wat you wanted me to.
For now I have 2 questions.
wat should use to keep my opponets away from me when they're close and pressuring me?
And...
Once I've lost stage control wat are some ways I can regain stafe control?

Umm, to keep opponents away from you...
Good question.
The problem is, there's no 100% answer.
Any of your fast attacks work.
Counter then in the air/on the ground with OOS options. (Believe it or not, we DO have these.)

For the stage control...
I dunno.
I never really focus on stage control. Just do anything you can to stay away from the edges if you feel like there is ANY possibility of you getting gimped.
if not, stage control shouldn't matter too tough.

could be little more specific? For keeping opponents away?

makes sense.
alright thanks.
-And wat should I do to work on gettin better with her pieces?
Should try messing with them in training?
In any match I play with ZSS, I "throw out" grab about 4-5 times. is this bad?

Btw, do you remember you told me to "know when to recover high and when to recover low"?
Well I think I got basically got the hang of this. :D

EDIT: Another question:
how do u do the extra "spinning" jump out of Down-b? (I know my explaination sounds scrbbuy.) haha.

ZSS does not really have the tools to keep opponents away. paralyzer/side-b do not cut it. Charging d-smash sometimes helps keep those wary of the move out, but that's about it.

Should try messing with them in training? For pieces? Err, figure out what characters you feel are better with items than you. Throw two away vs. those enemies. For the rest of them, basically throw them down to keep them alive, and throw when you think they'll hit. I suggest you go to training mode, or play vs. Diddy Kong to get better with them.
In any match I play with ZSS, I "throw out" grab about 4-5 times. is this bad?Grabs are good if they land. if they're not landing, stop. If they are landing, do not get predictable. (Who wants to eat a Snake f-smash because you pressed a button, right?)

Footstool.
Put in a jump command at any time during it, and any item/person will be flipstooled off of.

Thts wat I thought but I wasn't sure. Thanks. :D
oh another.
Wat r ZSS's best and worst stages?
Best:
Brinstar, Norfair, Rainbow Cruise, BF, Seige (vs. certain characters), Delfino (vs. certain characrters)
This is not in order after Brinstar IMO, and it's just my opinion.

Worst:
FD (vs. certain characters), Lylat, Pictochat, Green Greens (vs. Snake)
Once again, in no order, and it's just IMO.

This is, of course, in the MLG ruleset.
The BBR one... all the "new" ones.

At the end of your Stun Whip 2 video, you pull an extremely flashy and epic kill on a Snake that involved throwing up a suit piece and then footstooling the piece to gain extra height for the kill.
Did you come up with that on the spot!?
