2 things. Can anyone explain to me why ESAM beating Javi made so many ppl rage.

Leffen used a rule against Scar in teams, according to which you have to give up your current life if you accidently pause the game. Everybody (Leffen, Ice, Scar and SFAT) had one life left, but Scar had to SD, putting SFAT in a 2 v 1 situation and giving Leffen/Ice a relatively easy win.

Eh, rules are rules and it shouldn't warrant this much hate. I think he should warrant all this hate if he thinks he won that because of skill.

However, apparently this rule is not really enforced; players are cool with it and understand such a pause so I guess Leffen enforcing this rule after not really being enforced by everyone else ticked people off 'cause it's seen as a **** move. Rules are rules, though. :/

Pretty much this. Leffen won't go out of his way to be friendly, but he's not impolite either. If you had a room full of 200+ people shouting "Leffen sucks," you'd find it hard to smile at everyone, too.

And he's not really a **** on the boards anymore either. I've talked to him a bit here at Apex, not a bad guy.

On a much more serious note, Leffen did nothing wrong. When you traveled halfway around the world to be at this event, your far into the bracket; you gotta take what you can get. The play to win mentality needs to be in the head of our top players in order for this game to continue on being competitive. Otherwise we'll have another Unknown debacle or something of that sort. With that being said, I can see how Scar would feel he got robbed. Scar made a honest mistake, but the rules are the rules and Leffen choose to enforce it.

The bracket is a little behind. Gucci vs. Lord HDL just happened, Gucci won 2-0.
Shroomed vs. Kou going on next.

EDIT: Shroomed vs. Kou 2-1 in Shroomed's favor. Shroomed BARELY pulled out a win, last stock high %. Super hype set.

I don't doubt he's not a bad guy, but he's definitely still a **** on the boards. Definitely better, but still has moments where he'll go through periods of being outright rude without even being provoked (ask Strongbad and the Yoshi boards lol).

EDIT: When he wants to be though leffen can be REALLY helpful though.
