Smash Journeyman
B-Rex and I are teaming. I will have a legitimate recording setup and perhaps two n64s. Anyone bringing televisions?

You have to pay 10 bucks to be a spectator. As far as playing friendlies, I'm not sure about that. Contact Alex Strife or post in the Apex thread. I think you might as well just enter the singles tournament since it's just 5 bucks. So this is very close to me (I go to rutgers). I was wondering to what extent it would be douchy if I entered in just to get a chance to play with you all. Or could I show up as a spectator and play some friendlies? Im not a beginner by any means but ive played a few smash fiends on galaxy and, well... wasnt pretty.
get a prepaid/charge card if you're that desperate. sold at local stores like walmart and i even saw some at a gas station 2 days ago.I started to register, but then remembered I'm a 21 year old without a credit card cuz I don't like plastic lol (I have debit, but that didn't work). I wanted to avoid the price going up, but oh well. Guess I need a credit card now.
Idk what the problem is, I registered multiple people with my debit card.I started to register, but then remembered I'm a 21 year old without a credit card cuz I don't like plastic lol (I have debit, but that didn't work). I'll team with ya! :DYes we should. Anyone wanna team?
Maybe if me and Kefit do end up going. Ill keep you posted.any people wana split for a ssb64 room?
lol yea... but usually its more than $1. still dannng cheap compared to flying or gas and driving. I seriously want to go so bad for even just friendlies and to see top players in person... its during school week though :/Isn't that the mother****ing $1 bus ****?
yea i just meant its the weekend when school starts. It's just i hate traveling alone and i know i won't get any work done if i go. If i can get someone to go with im going for sure though. :/Nah dude isn't Friday through Sunday? Even if it was during the school weak take off! It'll be worth it

So if teams lags on a console and teams doesn't lag on an emulator, does it mean the emulator is going past than what the N64 can do? Or how can it run teams without lag but have singles run without any sort of fps change?Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's at the point where it's pushing the hardware's limits so there's really nothing you can do about it, unless they somehow optimized the game better (which they probably should have in those situations). Stuff like cutting out certain effects or textures in heavy load situations...
Yes. It may be emulating the N64's capabilities, but it's using more powerful hardware. Had the N64 been more powerful, it would run fine, too.So if teams lags on a console and teams doesn't lag on an emulator, does it mean the emulator is going past than what the N64 can do?
