I you can bring a system I would suggest bringing it. If the host says he has a limited amount of space and TV's bring it anyways.
Always bring your own controller and an extra one just in case you, or someone else, needs it.
If you can bring a CRT or tube television that would be even better!

What about use for PS3 controllers? From what I've seen they need drivers installed to use them.

we are using n64 systems only.
if the TO allows converters GC to N64 and the like it is ok but beyond that we are not playing on PC

Beware, some GC to N64 converters have a slight input delay.

I have it. I notice a SLIGHT delay. It might be my monitor, though. I always prefer CRT television and console over anything.
