I agree, rules are rules. But It's really common sense, much more good than harm will come from sticky-ing the tournament, even with slight changes to the recommended rule set.

The rules are what they are. I know, in speaking with many in that group, that things will change.

As far as my rules I will be using the usual EC rules that were in place before the Unity Ruleset took precedent. I feel they are the most helpful to new and old players and do not cause as much controversy as these do.


Apex should be stickied IMO though. With the Japanese, Europeans, and various OOC groups coming for both Brawl and Melee it is going to be bigger in scope and in concept than ANYTHING we have done. The production value alone is what sets it apart.

Go for it Alex. Anyways, AlphaZealot said that those rules can change if there is a good reason for it, and having the best players of all the world in one single tourment.... that is a good reason for sure.
Apex is gonna be huge.
