2 honest questions.
1. Will ROM4 be a Melee qualifier?
2. Why don't you up the Entry Fee for each game up to $25 like Genesis 2 did?
It's a bit high, but people are clearly willing to pay.

ROM4 will be the Melee qualifier. I just need to speak with Brian this Saturday to confirm some things.
The second question, is a possibility. But the main reason we keep it at $15 is because our venue fee price is a little higher, balances it out. But I won't speak for the whole team on that one.

Why is there a point system for qualifiers? From the looks of it there is only one qualifier per region, and only the highest placing regional person matters.

It is one per region but just like EVO anyone can go to the qualifers.
Also the highest placing regional player of that event gets a stipend. But a lot can change based on who wins what and so on. It helps to keep track of who we are to seed.

Going to multiple qualifiers didn't really occur to me. So some one can go OoR a couple times and acquire more points than whoever won their regional qualifier and get the stipend?
I realize the unlikely-ness of this, and the stipend probably not worth the traveling you'd have to do. But say Ally and M2K get 1st and 2nd at KTAR, ADHD gets 3rd and Anti gets 4th. Then for some reason Anti is in Texas and gets 2nd at Hobo. He then gets the EC stipend?
