i was already gonna MM palpi. this just makes it more interesting. that will probably decide the pool for me.

i already know how my set with Vman will go. if anyone has any info regarding the zero and robin in my pool, it'd be cool.

we should play it last too. i really have a feeling that'll determine who gets out and who doesn't. unless something weird is going on with these zero and robin guys.

Robin is my friend that's going with me. He mains Pikachu. What do you play? (Im Polak Pool 2) And what do the rest of ur pool main?

C!Z is a good marth from what i can tell from vids.

i actually thought this was one of the tighter pools. Silentswag got 9th at ROM4 :awesome:

There are two rounds of pools, both of which are 5-man pools (top 2 advance).

128/5 = ~25 pools

top 2 advance = 50 player bracket.

Two people get byes then or....what..

Why do you people hate the pool system?

Melee even has 64 pools. It's a perfect number. You advance two players, get 128 total, make 32 four man pools, advance two to make a 64 man bracket.

I may not know the entirety of the melee scene the way I know the Brawl scene... but why do all of the brawl pools look like:

'1 rapist, 2 people who fight back, and 2 people who just let it happen'
or
'2 rapists and 3 victims'

and all of the melee pools look like:

'1 obvious pro and a 4 way scrub tie for 2nd place'?

That being said, I dont think Im even going to have to play a single game after my first pool in order to out place Bl@ckChris.
