Honestly I'm terrible at spiking with dair... but I love to combo with it, catching people's feet with it while they're shielding is also amazing.

For some reason I have trouble using the back part of the dair sometimes :(.

Now I'm trying to spike everyone with just the back part when I can.

if u wavedash off the stage facing towards the recovering opponent and then jump back as they're about to reach the stage you can cover all their options basically. i'll have a vid to show you what i mean here soon.

Umm...what if they just sweetspot the ledge <_<.

Since you jumped back you're not in position to really stop it.

Being on the ledge itself is typically a better deal (except against spacies lol).

Do you mean grabbing the ledge or just standing on stage covering the edge?
I mean standing at the edge with your back facing to it (unless you think your opponent might not be able to sweetspot consistently. My friends do, so I've pretty much abandoned most on stage edgeguards).

Then I can grab it whenever I think they'll up B. If they sweetspot they die, and if they go any higher I just ledgehop something and repeat until they die.

Only problem with it is that it takes a long time to finish, so it's not that reliable in teams Q_Q

All this talk bout marth combo videos makes me wish I had folks to play against besides my single friend...Plus, I need some serious critique. Im tired of knowing some areas I need to improve on, but knowing theres bound to be some things Im not noticing x.x....
In other news; My wii has now spontaneously joined the 'Stop letting Melee Work' Wii console exclusive group. And since I keep my game cube upstairs....no more late night melee practice against cpus for me o.o....Although I suppose that might help in the long run x.x.
EDIT: Correction, my single friend who plays melee anywhere NEAR my level/seriousness....

On a completely unrelated note, here's my pool for pound!

1. HomeMadeWaffle
1. Noodles
1. UltimaScout
1. Adumbrodeus
1. Bo-D
1. Eggz

Now a 6 man pool unfortunately, originally was 5, so gotta be top 50%.

Honestly, just practice, it takes a while to get it to muscle memory, but in the long run it's needed.
