I say we turn this into the marth boards social thread / marth general chat :3

Also, I don't know if it's because of pal, but around here you see quite some combo's into usmash kills. Wich are really smexy.

Isn't the q&a thread a general social boards?

I mean if you mean a "Discuss about Marth" thread I guess you can make one.

You're already a party pooper.

Such a hypocrite.

Half the threads you make start talking about anime.

I Marth dittoed G$ in like 10 marth dittos or so.

He has ... quite an interesting style to say the least.

His moonwalks are so funny and SO pointless

speaking of marth dittos, any advice? i still find it a bit difficult
Thats pretty vague >_>....

Anything in particular you have problems with?

Here's very general things.

Try to stay on the ground, don't linger around in the air.

Get into the habit of learning when/how to CC and how to punish off of it.

right should have been more specific. glad you said something about staying on the ground, i seem to get airborne alot >.> well i'd say spacing tips and grab> upthrow at low percents but where would be the optimal place to throw at about 80 and above?

Spacing is just through experience. Try to play safe if you seem to be having trouble. Think about hitting with the very edge.

There is no real "optimal" really. And I find that happens a lot with Marth, its what leads me to think thats why marth has such a strange learning curve. There are a lot of factors, though I think if you're able to you should probably throw your opponent off stage if you're able to.

Upthrow is generally good because you put them in the air and look for fsmash opportunities.

If they DI away from you, you could bthrow. It sends them up in a way that makes them stay relatively close to you. In that way you could fsmash, or FH bair your opponent to hit them off.

There are a lot of scenarios to consider >____> and there are lots of DI tricks.

If you dunno what to do, just upthrow. And try to make them double jump. Then just punish them upon landing.

sounds good, thanks ^_^! have you played m2k before?
Of course I've played m2k :bee: he taught me a lot about the ditto actually. He is too good at it >.<

More general advice would be don't get grabbed. Lol.

M2k isn't fun to play, trust me. <_<
LOL

And I disagree, m2k is a lot of fun to play. If I could I'd play him all day. :lick:

I played him in marth dittos for an hour straight. I know I learned a lot but still winning only like 2 matches out of like 100 isnt fun. lol

lol i'd love to see this kind of nonsense done on a good fox.
First off its pretty silly to say my opponent wasn't good. He isn't like the best but he is more than decent.

And I do the upthrow dair combo a lot. I almost did it to Tag (He was a little too high percent =/) and I did it to Eggm iirc.

Its not like its difficult... like.. at all.
