Wonderful! My Mom scheduled a piano lesson for me this Saturday in preparation for playing in my sister's wedding in October. I really don't need a lesson, but I couldn't get out of it. I will try to be at the next C3.

Grilled Chicken and Artichoke Soup
"This zesty soup is perfect for a cold, blustery day. Use rotisserie chicken instead of chicken breasts to make things simpler if you like. Serve this hot with some fresh garlic bread for the perfect meal."
INGREDIENTS
* 1 ounce dried porcini mushrooms
* 1 cup boiling water
* 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
* salt and pepper to taste
* 6 cups chicken broth
* 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes (not packed in oil), snipped into small pieces
* 2 tablespoons tomato paste
* 1/3 cup olive oil
* 2 cloves cloves garlic, minced
* 1 red onion, minced
* 2 (13.75 ounce) cans artichoke bottoms, drained and chopped
* 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
* 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
* 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
* 1/2 cup dry white wine
* 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, or to taste
DIRECTIONS
1. Place the dried mushrooms into the boiling water and set aside until softened, about 20 minutes. Once softened, squeeze excess water from mushrooms and finely chop. Reserve the mushroom-flavored water.
2. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil grate.
3. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Grill chicken breasts until no longer pink in the center, about 6 minutes per side. Once cooked, set aside.
4. Pour chicken broth into a large pot, and bring to a boil over high heat. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes, tomato paste, and reserved mushroom liquid. Reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer for 15 minutes.
5. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in garlic and onion, and cook until the onion has softened and turned translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir in the chopped mushrooms, artichokes, pepper, parsley, lemon juice, and white wine. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes; add to the simmering chicken broth.
6. Slice the grilled chicken breasts into strips and stir into the simmering soup. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.

You guys post too much.
Space will be fine as long as people don't crowd around certain setups. I'm predicting something like 70 people. The upstairs won't be in use. I'll take a look at the list of people tommorow night and start picking out 1 and 2 seeds for pool play. If I find that there are over 32 people that I consider good I will expand the brackets after pools to 64, out of consideration to the OOSers. There will definitely be 16 pools. It'll either be top 2 to top 32, or top 4 to top 64.
If I decide to do top 4, i'll be picking two 1 seeds, and two 2 seeds for each pool. Conceivably 2 monsters(top 4 sorta people, M2k, azen, chu, etc. aho?!!11) could end up in the same pool, but I'll try to avoid that. Tio only allows 3 levels of seeding, Expert, Intermediate, and Everyone Else.
So I'd put people I consider 1 seeds in Expert, 2s in Intermediate, and Everyone Else.
I apoligize in advance to people who get seeded in the bottom 4 of pools. It just means you'll have to beat some of the 2 seeds if you'd like to advance. If you can't beat them, :|

That'd be lame. But I won't play favorites, everyone should be prepared to fight their counter matchups. And of course, I won't put people in the same crew or region in the same pool if I can avoid it. With Tio setup the way it is thats sorta hard, but I'll do my best.
The projectors will be in use, however, they'll be running parallel to TVs, i.e.

As the projectors do have a certain amount of lag. Most likely a VCR will be hooked up to one of these projectors as well. I'll use these setups for marquee matches, and for teams semis and finals and start pool play towards the end of teams.

It's really poor etiquette to ask people in tourney play if its a friendly or not, its just really distracting. However, if the match isn't really close. Whatever.
Once I get an idea of how many setups we'll have I'll dole out a section of those TVs for friendlies. MMs and crew battles and everything else will take place on these TVs. If you can get these over with before hand at the lock-in, etc, that'd be nice of you.

Aye, with the roster showing up, I would hate to miss this smash tourney. But... halo 3 comes out tuesday and I might not be in a smash mood. We'll see.

Adam, from running pound 2 i learned a ton about tio, so i know how we can make the pools basically flawless, ill help you make them. Its easy to seperate people by region, with the number of attendence no MW should end up playing any other MW til later. Same with NJ guys. The top players will be easy to seperate as well, we can use our discression for that.
Ill try to be there around 9-10 to help setting up as well - i just have to make sure my house is clean before i go because im housing a good bit of people.
chred, repryx, frozen, sliq, etc, i love you all (except repryx and chred) but u should stop spamming for now, the tourney is only 2 days away and there will indeed be more important info coming.
