Domo's completely incorrect post riddled with stupid bias was much gayer than me simply posting facts.

Nobody here should talk trash if they have never done anything. Last I checked, Kansas has never travelled and won anything.

I said that Kansas isn't a good indicator of high level play. Can you blame me for this? When notable players and huge tournaments are mentioned, Kansas doesn't exactly appear in my mind.

Nah he probably just clicked on my recent posts because I was ragging on him in the Character Rankings List for his Japanese.

Edit: In other, and infinitely more interesting, news I've decided that the Descent is a terrible film and no one should ever watch it. I've also begun work on the Gamera commentary that some of you who heard my half asleep rant on the movie from HOBO 11 may be interested in.

Also, since I mentioned HOBO, Xyro just mentioned he'll be banning Meta Knight in future Houston tournament starting in March I believe it was. This of course does not affect us directly, nor does it indicate we'll be following suit of course. I also don't want to hear anybody suggesting to me otherwise for the Bi-weeklies when they return (I'm looking at you Fino )

Sponsorship was looking good, although the main and most important sponsor of them all (the audio / video company) flaked out on me and I hadn't replaced them yet... everything else was pretty much locked in place. Unfortunately, due to medical bills for our daughter, Shel and I had to file bankruptcy. We believed we could still pull this off, but I ended up being stuck in some identity loophole with the credit agencies (apparently, they can't confirm I exist at this point)... and since we haven't been able to fully go through with the bankruptcy, we won't be able to take in money from ticket sales or sponsors because that would look really suspicious to the government.

It might have been possible to wait it out another couple months, but that would be FAR too much of a rush at the last minute, and lord knows I'd rather have no event than a possible piss-poor worthless event without equipment due to having everthing set at the last minute.

Unfortunately, this leaves us stuck exactly 20 days before we were going to start selling tickets and begin promotion... Well, I guess we're fortunate that we have to cancel now before all the tickets started going out and we started booking flights and rooms...

This really sucks. Scrub Club and myself were really excited to meet a lot of you and provide some good entertainment out in the Bermuda Triangle that is the Midwest.

To any of you who booked rooms, I already talked to the hotel and they will cancel your reservations tomorrow. You might want to call and double-check that they are cancelled, however. That would be a really good idea.

To any of you that threw in to help Rhymetorrents be a sponsor, you guys ****ing rock. I'm sure Loki will get ahold of you soon with your donation back. Just to let you know, your mystery performer was Schaffer The Darklord, and y'all raised so much money together that you were only $30 shy of paying his way to get here from New York and perform for you. And that's big time. Wow, check out the true power behind this small corner of the internet. I hope this makes room for future support stuff like this.

I'll be getting in contact with the musicians and special guests here in a few minutes, I just found it fitting to post it here first, since a lot of the people involved go here.

Scrub Club's new focus is finishing up Time Paradox while releasing A.D.D., Kabuto's mixtape, Deafinition's first album, Benjamin Bear's "Nightmare People," and other miscellaneous audio projects. My next solo album will also be out at some point in 2009.

On a positive note, the cat's out of the bag. Noncents Volume 3 will be released this week!

inui if u so important and so good why are u still here? go do wat u "self proclaimed" good players do. in your case i would suggest u read the matchup on olimar. cause from what ive seen u didnt quite do so hot in that matchup so instead of stayin here and talkin about how "good" your are and how uve done so "well" at tournaments go get better. Cause i dont care who u beat and who u have played u havent played me so all that other **** is irrelevant. and as for u sayin that kansas dont come to mind when u think of big tournaments and going places and winning and all that. neither does inui CASE CLOSED KID.

Nobody here should talk trash if they have never done anything. Last I checked, Kansas has never travelled and won anything.

I said that Kansas isn't a good indicator of high level play. Can you blame me for this? When notable players and huge tournaments are mentioned, Kansas doesn't exactly appear in my mind.

KY got 9th at Oh_Snap, one of the SW's biggest tournaments up to date. 9th out of 112 players; with players such as Infinity, D4ba, Santi, Dojo, Sethlon, Hylian, T-REX, Mr.3000, and other SW notables is a pretty accomplishing feat.

I have beaten Atomsk many times in tournament and he's probably the best Olimar right now. At least he's the one with the most real accomplishments. I beat Fearless 2-0 back in July and I'm 7-1 in sets with BlackWaltz. Don't just judge off of the only set I've ever lost to Atomsk's Olimar, which is the only recorded one.

I do better than/as good as Mew2King against Atomsk's Olimar now, lol.

That sounds pretty good since Texas is supposed to be tough.

I got 5th at FAST out of 120ish players with Mew2King, Relfex, Cort, AfroThundah, HRNUT, and other good players there. I guess that's the biggest thing I've entered.
