Most, if not all, people who joke about stinky esports players have way stinkier hearts than any Melee player's armpits - and infinitely stinkier senses of humour.

genuine question: how do people find this so hard to handle? I have hyper-sensitive sense and I don't find "stinky" people intolerable. frankly, if your senses are so easily upset you really shouldn't go out in public. ever.

like, there are so many bad things that go on in esports scenes yet all anybody complains about is that people don't shower? those are some warped priorities, man.

Persona 5's UI design is some of the ugliest design I've ever seen in my life, it's a cluttered mess with colours that don't mesh well at all. as much as I rag on it as a game, Sonic Forces did the "red and black with style" aesthetic better, as did every game ever released on the Virtual Boy.

Big Chungus has become the antithesis of himself twice in a row: first he was a throwaway gag in one of, if not the, best comedy series of not only it's era, but as a whole - then became an predictable, generic and repetitive online joke that was only funny about the first 10 times - then became a symbol opposing the ways of the very people who made him a meme.

I honestly like how recent Sonic games have taken the character of Eggman - he's got that perfect mix of goofy Saturday Morning villain and actual serious threat. earlier Modern games have portrayed him as a little too serious considering his name is literally "Eggman" and I find the whole "evil dictator" angle of his character to be a slight bit too political. (if you don't know what I mean, look up "benevolent dictatorship", it's a pretty fascinating topic and I'd love to see more media explore it.) I think if a Sonic game wants a non-comedic villain, it shouldn't be the caricature of Teddy Roosevelt named after a breakfast snack. (through it shouldn't be a guy who's whole motivation is "I'm not weak" either)
