The thing with blocking here is that whenever there's some big drama involving a user I've blocked I keep looking at their messages anyway so ironically I just see only the drama posts from them without the innocent ones.

I never got 'a long copyright length helps authors by forcing them to innovate'. Sure, you're able to use less things by other people, but if you write a successful story then you can just sit on your ass raking in the dough because nobody can do anything with it. Plus, if copyright length is shorter then it also incentivizes writing either unique sequels or new stories.

I had a dream Schoolhouse Rock's creator created another edutainment kids cartoon that was monochrome styled like an old film about mice fighting in World War II also called Schoolhouse Rock but everyone acted like they had different titles. The songs in it were much more grim, they were vaguely punk inspired
It's honestly wild to me that a factor for the Moodsters being public domain is that they had a redesign. Like, you draw two characters then they each get copyright but if you then say that they're actually the same character then they're public domain??? The whole case is wild, tbh.
