I have a really weird history with the word "perchance", where it is just part of my regular vocab and always has been, but back in my school years teachers would treat it like Pee-Wee's secret words and just hype me up whenever I'd say it for no reason, so the "you can't just say perchance" scold in Mario the Idea Vs. Mario the Man is very cathardic to me.
Any "play activity stats" feature is a hell for someone like me who falls in the "we're all a little OCD, aren't we?" camp. NASB2 has more content than Slap City, so I've naturally played it more, but god damn if I don't hate acknowledging that.

While I think it's a bad idea (as a default version) in Smash, a Mario & Yoshi duo would IMO be the best way to distinguish Mario in a non-Nintendo crossover fighting game where he can't be a shotoclone. Kart Mario is also tempting.
