I still think Unexpectancy is the better final boss song between Pizza Tower and Antonblast, but hearing Antonball's Boiler City during the very last phase of the fight was utter catharsis.

Also Nintendo Music is... aight so far. It works and it's great to have official access to Nintendo music for once, but it doesn't seem to have the best performance (on my phone, anyway) and it's gonna be agonizing waiting for new stuff. Sucks how composers aren't credited, too.

I wonder why Nintendo decided to go with elephants for Mario Wonder. There were so many animals you could have chosen, from a hawk to a giraffe, so elephants is a weird choice.

Just tried the Rivals 2 demo. Don't get me wrong, it's a great experience, but so far I honestly prefer Rivals 1 rn.

Just finished the two levels of Antonblast's One Blast Demo. Here's my immediate thoughts.

Love the opening cutscene.
Like I alluded to earlier, not the biggest fan of Boiler City's new green sky. Yellow looks better IMO. The level itself is still amazing, though, and it felt a lot better this go around than in past demos for some reason.
On that note, play control feels a lot better in general here (and that's saying a lot given how great it was to begin with).
I do wish they kept the combo counter during Arcade gameplay. I know they have a new mode specifcally for going for the highest combo, but I feel it still coulda worked in regular play.
Slowroast Sewer is mad fun, and across all three levels in the demos, I'd say this one scores second place. The Shark Thing:tm: plays like an even faster Rambi, which was a dream to control (barring one annoying part of the Happy Hour sequence).
In terms of performance, I did notice the game dropping down to 30-40 FPS at some parts of Slowroast. Might just be a me thing, but the rest of the game performed great with near-consistent 60FPS. I suspect it's those damn eels.

In short, this is the best Antonblast has ever felt to me. December can't come soon enough.

I found a RoA moveset for Mega Man where instead of having most of his moves be various Robot Master powers from his actual games, you can toggle his Neutral Special between eight unique weapons based on the original Rivals cast. Don't enjoy playing as him much, but it's a really cute and creative concept.
