From the clips I've seen, Amphibia doesn't really strike me as appealing - comes off as a little too edgy with a way-too-chaotic sense of humour for my liking... that being said, I respect any show that implies a shared universe with both Wallace & Gromit and EarthBound.
In the Smash Infinite universe:
- WarioWare is dead because they made a bad sequel to Game & Wario
- The Noid is indirectly referenced in Smash
- Nintendo got the rights to use a Bubsy music remix made by an NSFW artist for a meme YouTube channel
- Drill Dozer and EarthBound got remakes
- Buck Bumble has a near-equal Smash prescence to Rayman
- Sonic's moveset still hasn't been fixed
- Twitter has a stage and two Mii costumes in Smash
- A random boss from Mole Mania plays a role in the story mode.
- Sonic's second remix is a reggae song
- A Mr. Mime Spirit was added as to reference an obscure 70s Nickelodeon mascot.
- Mario Super Sluggers has a stage
- Iron Checkpoint Crate is one of the only two legend-class Crash Bandicoot spirits
- There is an item called "Goku's Staff" in Smash
- Sephiroth can wear a tutu
- The Sus Imposter is an assist trophy and Fall Guy is a Mii costume
- There is a gamer room mode
- Nintendo acknowledged Touch Fuzzy Get Dizzy again
- The Smash Run sequel mode has Satanic and early 2000s advertising-themed dungeons
- One of Metroid's music tracks is a Brinstar remix sung by cats from WarioWare
- Trivial spin-offs like "Wily and Light's Rockboard: That's Paradise!" and "Learn with Pokémon: Typing Adventure" have music tracks avaliable.
I think it'd be pretty cool to have a version of coin mode in NASB - there's probably some game show or memorable episode you can base the coin equivalent on (or just do slime blobs if need be) and it would actually give the game a slight edge for casual Smash fans.

I really didn't like the first season of the Animaniacs reboot, that being said - what I've seen of the second season (the Christopher Columbus diss track and the Big Bang Theory reference) it seems a lot funnier and more true to the original.
I adore the way Toby Fox's games use voice samples.
I like the implication that Pluto isn't completely morally pure - I think that's actually funnier than it'd be if they implied Pluto is evil.
So, which character is supposed to have the good flaws and which character is supposed to have bad flaws? Because I find nervous striped shirt guy way more interesting than mohawk scarf blue cyborg.
I have this weird thing I do sometimes where I play a game but pretend I'm in the attract mode, so I just play in a very simple way and, in a game with multiple characters, exclusively show off the most popular characters when possible.
I like how the entire NASB fandom has silently yet unanimously agreed to call CatDog's Dog strong up air "Updog"

Multiversus will find it's own niche, but that niche likely won't be the same people hyping it up, and thus like NASB it'll be labled "dead" when it's really just as healthy as any other non-Smash platfighter. Repeat the cycle for every licensed platfighter to come.
I think whether you'll go for NASB or MV depends on your preferance: content/polish or gameplay/balance. I like the latter, so I'll stick with Nick.
In a Simpsons platform fighter, the Poké Floats equivalent could just be Krusty merchandise.
Am I reading this wrong or do Multiversus characters only have two special moves each?

Nintendo are doing an official Smash competitive circuit with cash prizes, which is pretty cool. Really hope they 1. don't botch it, and 2. don't forget everything they learned from it both for future tournament and future multiplayers games as a whole.
Giving more thought, I'm mixed on MV.
On one hand, it looks pretty bad, especially when compared to Nick.
On the other, it's good that platform fighters are being seen as more than just "Smash clones" and some publishers are willing to give them budget.
I really don't wanna know the context for this.
