Hmm.. I think you might have mentioned that in the current (and somewhat absent?) UB award system thread when I poked in, mused about participating, then failing to act on said muses. Perhaps I should look into your early Blog submissions and see this all for myself.
Why don't you have much to blog about lately? As for your hesitation regardless, I get that. Anything I'd say would probably be ignored or attacked with our present audience. Can't sympathize with our demographic, don't know what they want, or at least I know I don't want what they want!

In other words, without your mitigating judgment, UB was a zoo? Whoever was a mod before then must have been awful then. You are pretty lax in most situations, from what I've seen (not talking about your moderation when I say that).

Some of the recent blogs we have exemplify people who won't sway have a history of not swaying; yet we can't help but try to nudge either way. I suspect we'll continue to try, at least initially. The rest will be driven by the desire to correct someone on the internet and continue.
We finally get some UB action going on, and this is the kind we get? Almost makes me wish it goes back to being lifeless. Almost.

But yeah, you're right. Good to check if you can nudge them in the right direction, though usually there will be resistance, and we have to watch the boat hit an iceberg before it'll try another direction. Mankind, children walking around playing "adults". Trial and error in personality and in evolution.

I always make sure I have my earphones in with the volume up very loud to make sure I can't hear anybody. I would only get angry if I didn't.

Yeah, **** that guy. From what I've read about him it sounds as if he has borderline personality disorder. It's hard to imagine someone could be as much of an unlikeable ****** as that guy without having an actual condition.

I name search every time I use smashboards. Generally no new results come up, but it has become part of my procedure. I get on my computer, wait a second, go to facebook, check everything, go to smashboards, click on user cp, check ALL SUBSCRIBED threads, namesearch wretched, and then other internet stuff.
It became a habit when people would break rules in the Atlantic South and then say my name.

I actually visited my black side of my family for the first time in like over a decade this summer. So it was nice and felt good. I'm not much of a family person though. My white side gives me no love.
