cause you don't play ddd defensively enough for that matchup
you don't have to approach marth
and you outrange him
it's not exactly easy, but it shouldn't be something you struggle with
at least i can beat marth's in both games

although, it's not like jiggs has advanced other than "space better"
it helps doc a lot in this matchup
if jiggs tries to space stuff to avoid trading
i usually don't see it a lot cause it's generally terrible/useless in other matchups
but it's really good in this one

you get caped for free dmg
and just cause a move is disjointed
doesn't mean they still can't hit you
well like his nair or bair will trade with your aerials
if you space an aerial he can cape for free dmg
pill spam does limit your approaches, even if not by much
he's better above and below you, about even horizontally
he's faster than you on the ground and has better movement on the stages with low platforms, aka not dreamland/fd
i don't think it's possible to gimp a smart doc under 50% (just throwin that out there) offstage cause of his cape/upb
doc has better and earlier ko options cause you can't gimp/rest him easily
it can come off as not that bad cause the matches usually always go to last stock, doc just wins the majority of them cause he's better at ko'ing and racking % -
