  • I guess Reliant Stadium isn't good?
I'm OK with Kiss (their coming to EP in november).
Alice Cooper, Ween, eminem, Flaming Lips.... effff!:mad::mad:
Why can't good bands ever come to EP (except Kiss and TSO)...

    Nooooooo!
Muse is going to Houston, and that's as close as they will get to EP :(
    So depressed now...
    Hahaha, you're right...

But yeah, it's a very good comparison to use in order to explain to people that hype really isn't good, and most people can relate to it since almost everyone on SWF has played Brawl.
Because I saw your post on the KotH topic and it mirrored his exactly like yours in KotH topic of that website. He too was from Texas who got the in jokes.
I got fidgety and posted Khold.

Also, the thread was on the SECOND page D: so I had to cast a Phoenix Down.
It's technically not a cover. The story goes that Reznor made the song, and he thought he heard it before or something. So he played it around for a few people asking if it sounded familiar etc, and they all said no. So he put it on his album. Later when the Scary Monsters album was released with those extras on the end(one being Crystal Japan), he realized where he heard the song before. Whether this is true or not, he did admit it to Bowie and brought it up in an interview on television, so at least he's not trying to Vanilla Ice it or anything.

    It's a gorgeous "cover": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPZakL2D34M

I got to hear the song live last month. Made me wanna cry.

I will indeed check out Klaus Nomi's work. And I agree that it is sad how far the music industry has fallen.
"Heart's Filthy Lesson is bad ***, and yeah, you can hear the inspiration NIN has gotten from it."

Derp scratch that. It made me think of The Downward Spiral which came out before Outside. Regardless, they do seem related.

Not sure if you listen to NIN, but take a listen at A Warm Place and Crystal Japan. Reznor eventually admitted that he "accidentally" took the song from Bowie. I recommend listening because it's a cool alternative to an already good song. And if you turn up the volume REALLY LOUD, you'll hear some lyrics at the beginning of the song(not sure if a Youtube of this song is good enough quality to catch it).
    Awesome thanks for the recommendations.

Yeah, Bowie was a huge inspiration for Trent Reznor. Would have died if I had gotten to see them when they toured together. In NIN's last two shows, they had Mike Garson perform as a guest. Guess that was the closest we were gonna get to Bowie. Haha.

Heart's Filthy Lesson is bad ***, and yeah, you can hear the inspiration NIN has gotten from it.

You seem to have awesome music taste. I'm always looking for new things, so I wouldn't mind talking to you on AIM or something sometime.
    Yeah, it was pretty fun.

I just could never build a deck since I didn't have enough energy, like, ever. Plus no one around me played so, yeah. XD
Holy crap, I remember that Slowbro card. It was like, my first pokemon card ever.

A friend gave it to me, and then I started buying them. I was like... 8 or so.
Spire, look what I got away with. :D

Posted in 16 straight Forum topics and glazed the pic over with C. Falcon.
Lol, I wanted to make this a blog, but half of my posts were overridden very quickly.
I have one question in the contest that I posted in the thread. I would like it answered before I progress farther into my writing.

If you answer it incorrectly then...

    There will be blood.
oh well, then his third nipple wasnt realO_o

    too bad lol

k hun, imah go to bed now, its late over here
    ttyl
Ok then. At least I have two more weeks to think it all through, so this is only a minor set back.
Suppose I was writing a story which is based in the time After PH and before ST and was drawing and writing everything based off of the Wind Waker style... Will that deduct from my originality points, or is it only the story's originality that I should worry about?

I mean, the story is 100% original. I just like the style of Wind Waker and wanted to base my story around that world. Will I be marked off for that?
Kay I'm going to work and won't be back till 11ish central time so you don't have to wait for me to post in the colony of doom thread haha just say I stayed there or something happened I dunno just don't kill me :p.
    Hahahaha ****.

Thing is, when you say Mark Hammil, I only think of young Luke Skywalker. =/
