Obviously there hasn't been enough 502's lately so MK had to step in to fix that.
Replay of PJ timing out Big Boss on SV.
Could you send it to me?

If your curious why, read the Houston thread lol.
I'm posting this for everyone, so if a specific part of your post wasn't addressed, PM me.

When the community is all for the action, then we have no problem putting action against them. WE've done things like this in the past in the various Regional Zones for the same reasons: A bunch of people are messing around, acting stupidly, don't care about infractions, and are encouraged by the community. Yes, it is unfortunate that some people are affected by the closure who were not messing around, but there's not a lot we can do about it.

Again, had it not been that a significant portion of the thread was encouraging the behaviour this would not have occured (I have actually received PM's from some thanking for taking action in the hope that it'll curb some people's actions)

@Zajice: I actually made a point of telling him that that stuff was not on when he had that stuff (he had been encouraging people to post on his profile, and had been doing it himself too)
yo do you want me to register for you? you could pay me back at the venue
i actually didn't catch it. it was probably amongst all those pages i skipped lol.

    Thanks, Slushie!
Slush, wanna do me a favor? (your amazing at these things)

Tally up every vote in Xyros thread about Ill. Ill's doing it right now, but idk if he's doing it right. I KNOW your great at tasks like this lol.
I admit that I'm not the most active member, but I do contribute here and there. I've been helping with the match-up discussions, too.

Join my room, not Alex's. You have 7 minutes before we start. If you post in the thread, you can join mid tournament between cups.
    K, I'll let them know.

And good shee on 1337, I'll be eagerly awaiting the awesome from which that post will spew.
It's not Time Trials, no. We'll have two giant lobbies. I'll divide people up tomorrow and post it in an email. So you're signing up? I just want to make sure. Nothing against you if your internet fails or whatever.
Would you like to enter the tournament this Sunday as well? Mario Kart Wii. It'll be at 6:30 and shouldn't last longer than a hour. We'll be doing the first four cups in the game, all of the Wii cups.
I'm sure you've seen my opinion for your sleeping predicament on the MLP thread.
Just in case I wanted to check up.
Not sure if you already made your choice before I voiced my opinion and if not I hope I didn't disappoint.
    [11:41:49 AM] Deltacod: Hey, Slush

[11:42:06 AM] Deltacod: So Imma talk about your match against Sky Pirate on RC
[11:42:17 AM] Deltacod: At the start, when you got pinned against the ship
[11:42:26 AM] Deltacod: SDI up and tech
[11:42:44 AM] Deltacod: When you started to shield, you coulda tried jabbing, too
[11:42:52 AM] Deltacod: Cuz at that range, the Fsmash is weak
[11:44:23 AM] Deltacod: Don't Fsmash so much yourself
[11:44:29 AM] Deltacod: Dsmash is also a bad idea at low percents
    [11:44:31 AM] Deltacod: Uh
[11:44:51 AM] Deltacod: You gave up a lot of positional advantage during the rotation to try and Fair him
[11:44:58 AM] Deltacod: Don't be in such a hurry.
[11:45:05 AM] Deltacod: Nice SDI on the way back down to the ship
[11:45:29 AM] Deltacod: You don't always have to Momentum Cancel
[11:45:39 AM] Deltacod: That's actually what got you hit at about 2:10
[11:46:37 AM] Deltacod: Them DR wavelands
    [11:46:38 AM] Deltacod: K
[11:46:40 AM] Deltacod: So on RC
[11:46:48 AM] Deltacod: Your objective should be to stay below your opponent
[11:46:51 AM] Deltacod: When it's scrolling up
[11:47:12 AM] Deltacod: And when it's scrolling to the right
[11:47:17 AM] Deltacod: You want to force your opponent to approach
[11:47:22 AM] Deltacod: So stay with the scroll

Just in case you don't see it.
Quite frankly, I'm forcing it. The Olimar boards are keeping to a STRICT schedule; two discussions per week, new discussions added every Monday night/Tuesday morning.
(I chose that time because I have class on Tuesday and I can never sleep the night before)

    - Harder match-ups are paired with easier match-ups to prevent overloading.
For example, Week one was Falco (generally thought of as one of our hardest) and Pikachu (One of our easiest, but still a character you might expect to see in-tournament)

    - If nobody wants to contribute, I search for information myself and post it to try to inspire discussion.
I search the opposing character's board, posts from Olimars that play the match-up (like RichBrown's posts on Falco), etc.

    - If no/little discussion is created, that match-up is marked as "unfinished" at the end of the week.
A rediscussion will be made later OR the match-up will be discussed in a Skype chat session at some point.
The threads will be left open in case someone comes in late and wants to contribute or something.

    - Invite other boards.
Our Mario discussion wouldn't have gone ANYWHERE, but the Mario players came in droves to talk about it. :D

    - Don't care, don't care. Just keep firing away!
You're just trying to get as much information as you can. If someone has a lot of experience with a match-up, they're usually eager to discuss it. That's why you need to keep cycling through characters EVERY WEEK to get around to the ones certain people will want to REALLY talk about.

And don't worry about people whining about your style. You aren't going to please everyone, so you should at LEAST try to get as much out of it as you can.
The Olimar boards aren't active at all and I'm already learning new things. ^_^

I'm a bit confused about what they mean when they say that you're "justifying the unjustifiable". Does that mean like... the way you're leading discussion?
It doesn't really look like you're doing anything wrong in that area.

    EDIT: And sorry for the rant. I have a habit of posting walls of text when trying to help people. ^^;
I edited my post. I coloured blue the names of players who are either top 5 in Alberta, top 5 in BC, or in the top 2 tiers of this ranking. IDK what would really be a measure of "skilled, notable players" since nobody outside WC Canada knows anything about WC Canada's players, so I just went with that.
