  • There's one tomorrow up in Newcastle. Other than that I dunno, although NSW seems to be getting pretty active right now so I'm expecting lots of them. My best advice right now would be to keep track of the NSW threads on the Australia board so you know what's up. Looks like there's even a Western Sydney thread now which is perfect for us.

    Good luck, man.

Oh and, sorry I didn't respond sooner, my internet connection's slowed down and become too unbearable to use so I haven't been checking here much. >_<
Yeah I do buddy, I made it a group called "Pro Brawl Tourney(s)" Plz feel free to join one when you have to chance! =D
you shouldn't learn chaingrabbing yet to be honest...they have the highest learning curve in brawl, so prepare yourself for at least 3 months of work before you're good with them...I've used them for 4 months, and I still have a few things to learn. :) but ofcourse, that's what makes them so fun! :bee: so before learning the chaingrabs, learn how to fight WITHOUT chaingrabs, and then implement grabs in your game after you start getting good without the grabs. Here's a few threads that might help you:

you can go to my thread that has links to all the useful threads:

and ask your questions in my other thread, and people will answer you:

hope I helped ;) happy Ice Climbing haha
ah I see, cool. you could post this in the falcon's frame data topic and I'll add it to the OP:) (you'll get credit offcourse)
also, make sure to check out my new thread: 'ToKneeOrNotToKnee's falcon findings thread'
it contains a vid of me kneeing myself 0.0
I'm not sure this is what happens, but it sure looks like it.

just see it for yourself, and post your thoughts about it in the corresponding thread please:)
Heh ^^;; It's nothing, really. I just really love seeing people who want to find God and try to do my best to help them the best I can. He's done a lot for my life, so it's hard for me not to want to help others find Him too.

I'll see my minister again tomorrow and get a chance to talk to him then.
Not yet. I'm so sorry about this!!

For some reason they haven't gotten back to me. I did call my minister the other day as I said I would, but unfortunately he didn't pick up. I think he was away so I refrained from multiple calls. But he'll be at our midweek service tomorrow/today (it's late Tuesday/early Wednesday, but the service is on Wednesday), so I'll talk to him then.

But even if he doesn't know what to do from there, I can give a call to the minister of my church at home who is part of the same group of churches and he should be able to help out.

We'll definitely get this figured out. Sorry about this, man. I've been doing my best but just haven't gotten a reply yet.

    P.S. I sent this the other day but accidentally put it up on my profile instead of yours --;

Anyway I talked to my minister tonight and he said he has a contact in Sydney and will get back to me soon. Sorry again ;3
No problem. And I'm a guy XD I don't think there are too many girls on this website. There are a few, but not a ton. But don't worry about it. It's a privilege to be able to help someone. I'm honestly just inspired to see that you're seeking God.

As for Stephanie Staples, I'm not sure if she's of a denomination. And we don't flame anyway (I always thought flame was just an internet term anyway) if someone's of a denomination. It's all about following God's Word, not creating sects and divisions. And the Word describes the believers as Christ's body (Colossians 1:24), which is something that should not be divided in any way.

But a bit more of an update: Neither of our two ministers were there tonight at a devotional time we had (campus students led the event tonight, I think the ministers might be out of town?) so I'll give one of them a call tomorrow. Anyway, just keep your heart set on God and may God bless you.

P.S. Just so you're not confused when you head to our church, we tend to use the New International Version (NIV) of the Bible. I'm not sure what you currently use. It's just sort of the standard for our church so no one gets lost using different translations. If you are using a different translation, you'll be able to follow along for the most part, but it can get kind of hectic (I used to have the New Living Translation and it threw me off a little when trying to follow people reading the NIV).

The NIV is a good translation, though. It's sort of the middle ground between literal and figurative. The New American Standard Bible is translated very word for word and the New Living Translation takes a lot of expressions into account and sift through the language to make it flow a little nicer. The NIV is a good balance between both of these, which is why I like it. But I do like some passages as they're translated in other versions.

Anyway, just wanted to give you the heads up. Don't feel like you need to run out there and buy it, but don't hold yourself back if you want to. BibleGateway.com is a good resource for that type of thing, they have nearly every translation on there. If you want you can use that to see how the translation is in that version.

Anyway, I'll talk to you later.
Hey, just wanted to give you an update. I visited the Sydney church's website and I wasn't able to find the minister's e-mail address. However there was a contact us form which I filled out telling them that I had someone who wanted to attend and was looking for the minister's e-mail. Hopefully they should get back to me soon.

But in the meanwhile I'm going to talk to my minister tonight to see if I can get that e-mail address any sooner than just waiting for a reply. So either way I should have that for you soon. Talk to you later!

P.S. Oh, something really cool happened yesterday. I was sitting in a cafe reading my Bible and someone not inside the cafe, but walking outside saw me reading my Bible through the window. She came up to me and talked to me for a bit, encouraged that she saw someone reading the Bible and trying to get closer to God. It turns out she was a Christian singer and songwriter by the name of Stephanie Staples. She gave me two copies of her CD (one for me and one for my minister, she signed mine ^_^ ) and told us to e-mail her through her website which was on the CD if we needed anything. It was really cool. I sent her an e-mail later that day asking her to come visit our church this Sunday. Hopefully she's able to make it.

Just thought it was a cool story you'd like to hear. Anyway, talk to you later!
All right, I found 6 of our churches in Australia. There's one in Adelaide, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney. Which of those cities would be closest to you so I can get you the minister's e-mail?
I don't think so. I literally can just ask next time I'm at church what churches we have set up in Australia and find which one would be closest to you, get the name of the minister and send him an e-mail asking when they meet and where and relay that information to you. From there I can give you his e-mail if you want to speak with him directly.

I think that's how it'd work, anyhow. Shouldn't be a whole lot more complicated than that.

Let me find which church is closest to you first and we'll go from there. Sound good?
Glad I could help out. If you want I can see if I can get you hooked up with a ministry of our church around your area. It's spread across the entire world so there should be one near you.
Firstly, you're not annoying me. Never worry about that. Unless you're shouting random obscenities it's hard to get me annoyed for me the most part.

Secondly, I do go to church. As I mentioned in a previous visitor message I belong to a non-denominational church. Basically, we're just Christians. Nothing more, nothing less. We have different ministries of our church scattered across the globe, but while I'm in college I'm with the Boston Campus Ministry which is comprised solely of college students (plus two ministers in their late twenties/early thirties) and we meet three times a week as a whole church and at least twice a week in smaller groups. The days are few throughout the week where I don't see a brother or sister during some part of the day (actually my roommate recently became a Christian so I guess I never go a day without seeing a brother or sister).

But about your church: It's impressive that you've noticed these things about your church. A lot of churchgoers either don't read their Bible or don't question their church (The latter I didn't mean in a rebellious way, but often people will just follow their church even when it goes against the Bible when the entire function of the church is to carry out the will of God and help its members do the same, which is made known to us through the Bible).

But yeah, I've seen those problems in Catholic churches and that's the reason that I have problems with Catholicism. They've gone completely against the Bible on numerous occasions in history and currently--so I can't really agree with the way they teach the Bible (or rather don't teach the Bible).

Sure they're doing some things right, it'd be hard for them to do nothing right and have no one notice, but the church is supposed to guide the members in Christianity--not oppose it.

Anyway, I'm rambling. If you want to keep talking about this so this whole conversation isn't just back and forth visitor messages, PM me sometime. Or I'll PM you if you don't mind--either way.
Well, the Bible does reference on numerous occasions to meet with one another. I just don't believe in separating the denominations. I believe that there are churches who follow God and those who don't--and it's not too hard to tell them apart. Just look at the Bible and see which are really following him.

And there are also instructions for how to run the church as well in the Bible, believe it or not. Not a whole lot on the organizational standpoint, but the function of the church is made pretty clear in the Bible.

But anyway, out of curiosity, are you proud of your denomination? I just found it was odd that you said you're told to be proud as opposed to saying that you are.
Well actually your kinda right, 'Marth' did married 'Sheeda' therefore 'Marth is now the king of 'Talis', but there moved to 'Altea' and lived there lives there.................
You must have got confused.....becouse 'Sheeda' is the princess of 'Talis'..............
    I don't have a denomination. I belong to a non-denominational church. We're non-denominational for two reasons:

    1. We don't believe in the separation of the body of Christ, which is the church.

    2. We don't think Christianity should be much more complicated than opening the Bible, figuring out what it says and applying it.
That's one of the hardest questions people ask me, but I could say axolotl, tree kangaroo, and celeocanth.
lol thats pretty funny hope hes there or somthing... atleast some pros
    would do the trick
Actually make never called her by her real name in Fire Emblem's OVA, he keep on calling her 'Sister'............
