    You're locking a thread because a couple people decided to have a little fun on someone's profile? Because nobody ever does that?
    I'm guessing you realize how hypocritical that is since you just accused an entire thread of being 5 year olds, too.

    If you want to be the role model you're supposed to be you could have just asked the individual people to stop and posted a warning on the thread saying shenanigans like that aren't going to be approved any further, not automatically just close the thread because you can.

    I'm here for the same reason as Blue Pants down there.

    Locking a public thread because of the antics of 2-3 people that visit it is unfair to everyone else not involved. Not to mention, locking this thread doesn't stop people from posting on anybody's wall. (I'm assuming that's what happened, I didn't personally see what went down.)

    I can wait out these 24 hours if you really find this necessary, but I just don't understand this course of action.

    I don't think we should get in trouble when something like that is acceptable, and even more so when most of us didn't even take part in anything.

    how does closing the thread solve the problem? Why not do something with your admin powers and disable the offenders' VM permissions for 24 hours instead?

    Not only that but it's arbitrary punishment, not everyone in there did it. I'll admit I did say "do it", but I wasn't being serious, and even if they would do it, I didn't think it could be such a problem that it would warrant a temporary thread close.

    Not saying that you didn't need to take action (because I don't know exactly how bad whatever it was that went down was), but I am saying that you didn't need to do so in such a rash manner.

    But as you can see, my little outburst caused those who never posted before in the thread to specifically come and target my post. What does that tell you?

    Observations, but I won't touch on that subject in that particular thread again. I'll keep it premium based.
