Lol Aesir, for some reason I really feel you can't say my name is stupid. The original question wasn't which is better, nair or fair. It was which is better approach against a person intending to CC, otherwise I would agree that fair is better in most cases. Just an opinion anyway.

Not against marth. Unless your opponent doesn't ever attempt to sweetspot, then it's a little useful I guess. But in that case you're better off with a fsmash. You really only want to use the counter against someone like fox or falco during their recovery.
