    Good stuff at SiS6 :D. I saw you guys on stream lol. My exams were in Statistics and Cyber Forensics. I got an 88/100 on one and I haven't seen the second one, but I think I did pretty good. We'll have to hit up a Brawl tourney together sometime. I kinda miss playing Brawl Falco lol. Maybe the one in November at Cinci because the drive isn't that bad and it's right after I finish a bunch of exams and research papers.

    It really sucks that there is not a church by your school(Indianapolis & Fort Wayne), but I promise you that there HAS to be some disciples on your campus! I will definitely look into finding some from there for you if you don't mind..

    I updated my post in the thread around the last time I posted on your wall, adding that I'm leaving the thread closed due to threads like this never ending well.

    Your thread didn't really disrupt any discussion and I don't blame you for making it since you can't be expected to be familiar with another region's board; hopefully you have more success spreading the word elsewhere.

    Okay, here's an update.

    I must admit hat my original rationale for closing the thread was a little shoddy. When I first saw the thread, I immediately thought of similar threads in the PacWest Social board that inevitably went awry right from the get-go. When I saw a user call you out for advertising, I jumped the gun a bit and used that a reason to close it.

    However, given the track record of threads like this in PacWest, I do not plan on reopening it. In addition to the general irrelevance of the thread to PW, unlocking it would almost assuredly lead to nothing but flaming from the local Melee players, probably led by Miharu and Frotaz. I think the two responses prior to the locking nicely sum up the attitude of the board's residents; rather than congratulating your friend and expressing their support, they immediately want to see the thread locked.

    I don't mean to express any disrespect towards you or your friend, but I just can't envision anything good happening from unlocking the thread.

    Strictly speaking, I view it as an advertisement for Gain. However, I am open to reopening it; I'll bring it up in the Staffer Shack. Just be wary that the Pacific West social board, which is generally populated by Melee players who don't know you, has demonstrated on multiple occasions that it does not take kindly to a stranger using them for his/her own personal gain.
