Of all the things in Sonic Origins, I'm most looking forward to being able to retry Special Stages with Coins in Anniversary Mode. I'll finally be able to legitimately get all the Chaos Emeralds in Sonic 1 and 2!
Action Figure submissions are now open for Sonic: The Champions! Basically cute little classic versions of the main characters that you can pose and make scenes with as a replacement for Trophies or Spirits.

These are incredible. I love this little thing that Origins is doing (though I would much rather a Sonic Jam style hub world).
Huge W I somehow just now noticed with Origins: it's on Epic Games AND Steam. Guess they learned their lesson after that bit of backlash Colors got for being Epic exclusive on PC.
Despite having all 4 games already in some form, I'll probably pre-order Digital Deluxe, since SEGA said that future remasters depend on how well Ultimate and Origins do, so I want to try and support the better of the two. And I just really want widescreen Classic Sonic on my Switch.
Really wish it was easier to know what I'm doing wrong with running Sonic: The Champions. Could just be too small a niche, could just be the influx of creation therads, or more likely I'm just not great in leadership positions.
New job for Champions is now up-it's a pretty important one, so be sure to submit!

Okay I know I complained about blue underlines on Google Docs a while ago but what the f*** are these new purple underlines. They're supposedly to help make the writing flow better but the suggestions are never good! Makes me want to gouge my eyes out and buy an expensive word processing software that isn't dumb and stupid like Docs is.
And now SmashBoards has blue underlines and that's just GREAT isn't it???

Just got accepted into a really really good creative writing camp, which is awesome to say the very least, but I will probably not be here for most of June. Just a heads up.

If Taskmaster ever gets into a platform fighter, I want him to be a joke character, but not like Roll or Dan - rather, I think it would be funny if he was an echo fighter of whoever his opponent is.
A Google Doc worksheet from my world history teacher has right align by default for the answer spaces and it makes me unnecessarily mad. I mean they got it from the internet so I'm not mad at my teacher, just very made in general that someone out there likes right align.

Hey just a heads up, in the Sonic and SB Replaces threads there were more frequent updates the past week, but that's solely because of Spring Break leaving me with little else to do. Once school starts back up tomorrow, both threads will likely only be updated once every few days.
And, again, sorry the whole music/spirits thing in SB Replaces is kind of a mess right now. I'm trying to find ways to improve the system.

Literally every major plot point that I expected to happen happened, but it was so done so well I couldn’t have cared in the slightest.
Most of the time, I'm very against the idea of guest characters in Mario sports/racing games...
but then I remember that Mario Hoops 3-on-3 exists and suddenly there's nothing I want more than an absurd amount of unfitting crossover characters in a Mario game.
In Sonic Smash Bros, we're currently submitting fighters from the Dark Ages of Sonic (anywhere from 06 to Free Riders). This era of Sonic has a lot of fun characters to choose from, so feel free to stop by and offer up your ideas!
