  • I think that is funny to know that Rider series starts early on September because is exactly in early september that is my birthday, even Saber my favorite series came in the exact day! So it feels like some sort of gift, thought even if this time its released 3 days earlier I'll look forward for it.

Btw unrelated but I'min love with the current lineup of "the big three" (Kamen Rider, Super Sentai and Ultraman, in this case Gotchard, King-Ohger and Blazar) specially design wise I think that all of them are good, even fi I ain't into precure yet I can say that Cure Sky could also fall in the category of japanese hero show for kids with clean af designs.
    Kamen Rider Roster so far:
    • Green means that is 100% in, no-brainer selection.
    • Blue means that the character is pretty likely to mantain in the roster.
    • Red means that I have doubts if have the Rider in, or made him DLC or a Tag Partner or don't have them at all.

Wanting to share my progress in art with my most recent draw of two of my characters.
For the moment I think all Heisei and Reiwa main riders are a given, not sure how to handle secondary riders, they are usually popular but like, how much people would miss Ibuki? (saying as someone who has never seen Hibiki btw), thought usually the games have at least all the secondary riders for an era (Even if Fighters/Zi-O didn't had all the secondaries, it had all the ones of the Neo Heisei era). Anything else is a blind spot for me, I have my own bias and well, the roster is fairly large, aproximadelty there it would be 50-60 characters from the very start and then one or two DLC packs with either 6 or 8 characters each. In the DLC case I'm already thinking that at least these chars are easy DLC bait:
Thought I was thinking that Ouja can be base roster, but I aren't sure how many reps a series should have from the start, is impossible to have a true balance when Kuuga has only one rider while Geats has like 20, also thinking if I should count non-rider characters that are still fairly popular like Desast or Mashin Chaser (thought is true they both get Rider Forms after), Shadowmoon (that also, should I have characters from the reboots like Amazon(s), Black Sun and Shin?, coincidentally, Shadowmoon is labeled as a Kamen Rider in Black Sun), Tackle or the recently announced Valvarad. Showa Riders are also a blindspot asides of the obvious Ichigo and Black (Nigo and RX? Not so much, especially considering that Iwas thinkingon an assist system).
Alright I just get some ideas for a pair of characters in my Kamen Rider concept game.
    • Double: From first, it will be required to divide his movese between regular, Fang (because it use Phillip body) and Joker (because it use the Lost Driver), thought I ain't 100% sure to add Joker in first place, its quite a popular form cuz it appears regularly in various games, but it is kinda simple? As much as I love Shotaro.
      • Normal: Similarly to Climax series, it would have the ability to freely swap between the 6 base Gaia Memories using the right stick (because this time it isn't a free 3d movement game, so it isn't required to control the camera),swapping between Cyclone, Heat and Luna from the right side and Joker, Metal and Trigger from the left (they both only swap in that order), you can prepare your next transformation without using it because it only changes when you use the stick down. Because the left side is the Body, chaning between them changes mostly the normals, while the right side that it's the Mind/Soul it affects stats (Cyclone is balance, Heat is Power, Luna is speed), and all of the combinations have their own combination of special moves (thought some of them are similiar between each other, mostly for Trigger where it's all about shooting).
Memory Gadgets could be used for add some spice in moves, like Stag Phone being a CycloneMetal special, Spider Shock could be a normal grab for Trigger stance, the Bat Shot could be a normal of Metal stance, etc.
Xtreme can be achieved has an Install, blocking yourself in a minimal amount of moves, thought all of them are high damaging, while GoldXtreme is the definitive finisher (that's other thing, there it should be multiple finishers, thought some of them have "secret" finishers that makes use of an Extra Final Form or similar.
      • Fang: Fang is now able to change between the Joker, Trigger and Metal memories, based on Fuuto Pi; thought instead of being permament, they are temporal stance changes, Trigger for right and Metal for left; it is like a more straightforward character than base Double and trades all the versatily for raw strength.
      • Joker: Honestly Joker would be extremelyy basic, just a brawler, thought I'm quite inclined to make it be more like "JokerJoker" and so have Phillip for assistance as "CycloneCyclone" like in Movie Wars.
    • Zero-One: Aruto would be accompaniated by his secretary Izu all the time, with she mostly just being a bystander walking around the stage following Aruto, thought she seems to help him creating the Progrisekeys for his upgrades, while also using the Zero-Two Driver for their Secret Finisher together. She could also appear alongside him when taunting making jokes.
Aruto himself instead of how Double makes use of all Memories with different movesets, Zero-One only uses the Hopper line of Progrisekeys, while the other animal keys like Flying Falcon, Biting Shark or Freezing Bear are mere special moves, the stick instead is used for the Learning Meter, that allows him to evolve between forms permanently unlike Double or others, this could seem as a disadvantage, but it's a big stat buff that remains for the whole battle so it is worth it, thought it is possible to degrade Learning from taking enough damage. The chain would be Rising Hopper, Shining Hopper, Shining Assault Hopper, MetalCluster Hopper and it ends with Zero Two, thought there are other two variations for Zero-One.
      • Realizing Hopper: The Realize Meter (replace of Learning) works as Order Sol's meter, allowing him to increase his power, while also being the fuel to his predictions (basically like Mythra's dodge, and I know Shining and Zero-Two have a similar thing, but my takes on them is that it's more like a mixup situation (Shining) or a direct counter-attack (Zero-Two).
      • Ark-One: Aruto has too much Berserk forms man. Well, Ark-One is mostly straightforward, with the special thing is that it can't release directly the finisher, and instead you need to expend gauge to activate the attack, for the bright side each time you expend meter there it would be a general stat buff.
I will never understand that side of One Piece fandom who tries to push them as being "iconic" cuz it's a very worthless title. For the other hand Gear 5 is awesome it doesn't matter if it is iconic or isn't or if it can beat Goku or whatever is just ver creative, fun and cool-looking to the point that it did sell me to watch the anime (I'm at Ennies Lobbies, thought likely I will jump to the manga instead because I read faster than the amount of time it takes to watch a single episode).
Welp, I'm doing a "small" personal project of think in a spiritual succesor of the Climax series of Kamen Rider. Kamen Rider has a hit or miss history of games, in terms of fighting games the last one Scramble Zi-O was kinda mid. Recently I was playing Super Climax Heroes (PSP/Wii) and the game is good but it also feels limited by the device and the format, like, moving in a 3D space using the cross? Hell nah. Also I like the "Grooves" but sometimes it feels limitated like, the only reason why you must choose between having 3 sets of Core Medals is simplification, and also having Burakawami locked in a way that you can't use PuToTyra with it is just because it came later. I think something like All-Star Battle that shares similar mechanics (universal types of styles, 3D enviroment, special action button) can work, but I'm looking for things like the roster because only putting all protagonist of Heisei to Reiwa is 25 characters (not including Gotchard tho) and I do have a problem with Kamen Rider games that most of time are only the main chars and some secondaries, the Showa era is left behind and most movie content that could be cool to see its left outside. So yeah I'm trying to balance it(?
Alright because I'm back I should now make Kamen Rider Gotchard propaganda because I think you guys might like these silly guys.

Sentai's designs tier list, btw this only counts the base designs and sometimes ignores any Extra ranger cuz it would be weird put really high a team only by one member while the rest doesn't look fine to me.

TIL the Neon Genesis Evangelion manga was published by Marvel.

Idk I just had the feelings that I should share this information.

Not exactly, afaik a pair of them like Conan the Barbarian are canon but those that are only licenced aren't. Thought Battle Fever J has it own Earth even if didnt had any crossover with another hero iirc. So technically aye you can say that, multiverses are something mad.

Ah, I just looked into it more, it's only the licensed IPs that have Marvel superhero crossovers that are considered their own Earth. Both of these, which were the ones I discovered - and promptly misinterpreted - this wonderful fact from, had Spider-Man cameos. (That explains why the Marvel wiki didn't have an Earth number for the third IP I tried to check on there: Rocko's Modern Life, nor ones for Care Bears and Neon Genesis Evangelion)

Naturally, the obvious explanation for this is that Care-A-Lot, O-Town, and Tokyo-3 all coexist in a single Earth, in the background of some other Spider-Man story.

A Seventh Doctor crossover comic allowed Transformers character Death Head to become a recurring character in the mainstream Marvel comics, though iirc Doctor Who and Transformers are not referenced in the mainline universe after that.
I'll not post this (at least for the moment) in the Marvel vs. DC thread, mostly because unlike Kamen Rider my knowledge of these franchises is more lacking. While I like a lot how that thread ended my mind didn't stopped to think how coold it would have been put Kamen Rider Ichigo and Ultraman (who even if is more knowed in his giant form actually it can also have a normal size too and in fact that works better in this context because it allows him to fight for longer because mantain his giant appearence is troublesome), putting Captain America and Superman as their respective rivals and for the boss while they both have a lof of enemies, I think that Shin Godzilla would be awesome to have 3/4 members of the SJHU. Also fighting Godzilla as Batman would be a great nod to that movie that never was done.

Probably my biggest problem with starting to be a toku/mech fan is that now I have an urge of buying very expensive plastic figures (some of these costs +$400)

Finally finished all parts of JJBA today (some of them just watched the anime, others also readed the manga and of course for part 7 and 8 I only readed the manga), here it is my impressions:
    • Phantom Blood: Solid start, didn't age too well imo but is a light read. Jonathan is a great character tho, is impressive how the fact that he is "a good boy" makes him very destacable over the rest of protagonists. (7/10)
    • Battle Tendency: Definitively was the part that setted the tone of the series (even if the goofyness would be later toned down), Hamon reached his peak here and makes me understand why it was later dropped (especially since well, there aren't more vampires in later parts). I love a lot Kars abilities but he is probably the weakest villain of all. (8/10)
    • Stardust Crusaders: Quite controversial but this is my less favorite part, I definitively enjoyed it but it feels too damn long for what the story is. I love the main group, I like DIO and how the mistery about what class of f*cked-up ability he had but it feels like it waste too much time into go to the point. (6.5/10)
    • Diamond is Unbreakable: Since I'm a dumbass I started to watch the anime here, no regrets thought since this is GREAT. I like a lot this part, Josuke may not be my favorite protagonist but is probably the nearest JoJo to have the same chivalry of Jonathan, I also love how versatile Crazy Diamond's ability is even if in paper would sound like a power that would toned down all the drama without requiring an absurd requirement. Kira and Killer Queen are between my top 3 of villains and Stand's abilities since even if how simple would it sound make everything a bomb the ways each bombs works increase a lot KQ's versatility. Also Chase is the second best opening and I aren't open for debate. (8.5/10)
    • Vento Aureo: I don't think Vento Aureo is bad like others but isn't as great has I thought when I only heard about the anime without having any context. It has a similar formula to Stardust Crusaders but I think at least in the anime it does it way better. GER isn't exactly an asspull but even if I love the design and the idea in paper I aren't a fan of how anticlimatic it feels. (7/10)
    • Stone Ocean: The only part that I readed the manga and watched the anime completely (I'm in the middle of Vento Aureo's manga right now), this would be in terms of the parts adapted my favorite so far, I love a lot Jolyne and while Stone Free's design isn't my favorite I love the ability of the strings, without needing an actual powerup is extremely versatile and makes Jolyne fights very fun to see. The rest of the main cast is cool too and while I was skeptical at first about how most of the story would be in prison in the end I enjoyed a lot the place. I can understand why people would be upset initially about the ending but for me this became my favorite ending of all even if it gives a bittersweet feeling. (9/10)
    • Steel Ball Run: Ok if starting in the 4th part of the anime is dumb, I think even more dump is starting reading in the 7th part since yes I started reading Steel Ball Run even before starting watching any of the series; of course I did know about the whole different universes thing etc but I kinda feel bad for that since I end rushing completely the manga (I always read fast, but I end the whole manga in 2 days and I don't think it was the best decision) since now I think I would have enjoyed more the shout outs to the previous parts with the alternative universe characters. That doesn't mean that I didn't enjoyedthe manga at all, in fact is all the oposite I LOVED IT; it's so damn great I love Johnny, I love Gyro, I love Valentine, I love the stands (Tusk Act 4 became my favorite stand of all), I love the concept behind the Spin and how it can be implemented I just really enjoyed this part and I think that one day I should reread it, slowly this time, maybe in 7 days in a Week,. (9.5/10)
    • JoJolion: Okey so I was very worried about this part, I readed previously a lot of bad comments about it (thought things like how long I take it to finish it wasn't a problem to me since I started reading when it was finished) but in the end...I like it a lot too! I honestly think this part has the best humanoid stand designs and even if Tooru is quite dissapointing yeah and that Go Beyond can easily fight alongside GER in terms of how anticlimatic it feels (even if I also love it) and that the excess of automatic stands is quite disgusting but I think this part is very solid. (8/10)
In the end the order would be something like:
    1. Steel Ball Run
    2. Stone Ocean
    3. Diamond is Unbreakable
    4. Battle Tendecy/JoJolion
    5. Phantom Blood/Vento Aureo
    6. Stardust Crusaders
I honestly just hope that if JOJOLands is in fact the last part in the series then it should be the best.
Hey so, how is going your christmas shopping? At least in videogames I had saved 100$ for this ocation. So far I bought these ones and I still have some additional money that I'm thinking to expend in either Have a Nice Death, Blasphemous, Bloodstained, Street Fighter V or Shin Megami Tensei III.

I forget to mention it early, but the winners for the mech round are already posted, Mazinger Z and Char Aznable are the new fighters! Now we are looking for a second boss from a Shonen Jump series apart of a stage based on any Mecha series, you can submit something for any of the two jobs here!
Now that Mazinger Z is here we only need Honey for have the Go Nagai trio!
Alright soooo, I arent someone to be trusted but for a time I was having this idea in my head for do an animanga fighting Game thread, there it was one with a focus on the shonen jump before but I was thinking in expand it to a more general project. The ideas was there for a long time but the quite recent jobs in the DC vs Marvel thread about Goku and Luffy being added made me think about it again. I would like have a similar dynamic to that thread too with the aesthetic and the way the jobs are done so maybe in that way it wouldnt did as usual? Im also on vacations unlike before so I can dedicate a little more time to it. If there are people interesed let me know so I get the passion to do it.
Tomorrow I will change my pfp but before doing that.
